Fantastic!
Amazing. Simply put these boots are the best footwear I have ever owned. Immediately after putting them on they fit snugly but comfortably. After wearing for a brief period, they broke a bit and I now have a comfortable amount of room and flex with each step. These boots make me want to break into a slight jog Everytime I take a step. The shipping was prompt and arrived ahead of time as well. Overall this purchase met and then exceeded my hopes.

I like this boot
I like this boot, but the size 12 Regular was not true to size. It is more like a size 11-11.5 and is also a bit narrow, which I found odd considering my feet are not wide at all. I read another review saying there was plenty of room to move the toes, but my toes felt cramped and unable to move. I also read another review about the outer lacing ball bearing instep digging into the foot. I did not experience that while wearing it, but I did experience it digging in while putting on and taking off the boot. Luckily, I did not feel it at all after placing my foot all the way in the boot and lacing it up, even when lacing it up tightly. But I mention this only because someone whose foot may have more meat on top or or thick around where the top of the foot and ankle meet may experience the ball bearings digging in.Aside from the fit issue, the boot is of very high quality. If it weren't for the fitment issue, I'd give these boots 5 stars considering the quality of material, craftsmanship and design inherent with this boot. I have no doubt it would last a good while before needing repair or replacement. This is a light boot as far as boots go, but not as light as my dedicated running sneakers. They are also not as flexible on top of the foot as running sneakers, either. There is still some stiffness on top and especially right at the front where the end of the toes meet. I suppose this is what separates it from true running footwear and makes it more of a real boot for protective purposes. The boot also provides very good side ankle support, presumably to help avoid rolling and spraining an ankle. This is important to me since I have a weak left ankle that I've rolled, sprained and broken several times in my lifetime. There is probably not a boot made that can 100% guarantee an ankle will not roll and sprain, and I assume that because these are the "NFS" model their side support may not be as stiff, strong or as preventative as other tactical/military style boots, but I feel they provide decent enough support to considerably lessen the chances of rolling my ankle when compared with running shoes and even low-top hiking boots.Where this boot shines is for those who need to use it for running, jogging and training. And it does so with its sole. As soon as I put them on, I could feel how the sole is conducive to running, jogging and jumping. I'm able to run and jump much more easily with this boot than with any other boot I've worn. Unlike other boots with a thicker, wider weight-bearing support heel, the heel on this boot is thinner, more rounded and designed more for running, training and jogging. Of course, dedicated running shoes will still outshine this boot's athletic capabilities, but if you're looking for a tactical/military style boot that will provide decent foot and ankle protection and better training and athletic abilities than a more standard boot, then this boot excels in that department.ETA: I got a half size bigger and wide instead of regular width (12.5 Wide). This size is correct for me for this boot, but they are now very uncomfortable. The area by the ball bearing digs in uncomfortably against the inside part of my right foot about an inch or so in front of my ankle. This is weird considering the other half-sized smaller boots, which were a tad too small for me, didn't have that problem. So although my toes now have more room, for some unknown reason, the boots are too tight and dig in uncomfortably on the inside part of my foot. I thought they may just need a break-in period, so I wore them for an entire day, jogged in them for a couple miles, did some short sprints and squats in them. The next day I wore them all day again and jogged about 6 miles with them and did a few sprints, but they still dug in right at that spot and haven't improved one bit in that area. I tried skipping the ball bearing loop lace, lacing them loosely, lacing them tightly, adjusting the tongue some more, but nothing worked. So all in all, they just don't fit my feet, which is a shame because I really wanted to like and wear these boots. They excel in running, they excel in ankle support, they worked well climbing a 7-foot, slightly angled wall, they excel in high-impact shock absorption, the laces are strong and top notch, they appear to be extremely well made - but they're simply too uncomfortable for my feet and just don't fit me well at all. Given how they excel in every area except comfort, I gave them a 4 out of 5.ETA 2: I discovered two things that I think help with the digging-in problem near the inside roller bearing area. One is that I had replaced the original thinner insole with a slightly thicker Dr. Scholl's athletic gel insole. I discovered doing so was a mistake. The slightly thicker Dr. Scholl's insole was thick enough to raise my foot just enough to press more against the top of the boot (near the bottom of the tongue) and the top inner side. By putting the original thinner insole back in, my foot had a little bit more room, and didn't press in as much against that inner roller bearing area. The other, and perhaps most important, factor affecting the digging-in problem is the tongue. It's kind of hard to explain in words, but if the tongue is pressed as flat as possible against the top of the foot and lower part of the shin, the outer edges of the tongue (which are sown all the way up the boot), will fold in, acting somewhat as a cushion against any inner material of the boot that can dig in to the side or top of the foot. These two things helped immensely with the digging-in problem. It's still there, but it's much less pronounced and much more tolerable.

Wow!
This was my first tactical boot ever. I’ve now had them 12 months and wear them 5 plus days a week on asphalt and concrete and are on my feet at least 15 hours a day.As light as tennis shoes and do not wear you out clomping around due to the light weight. I still have a little tread left on both soles. The boot is intact and not separating. The original shoelaces are in good shape! I have a new pair I ordered to transition to but these are still hanging in there!

Good boot, but tread/sole doesnt last long
I love these boots, the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is the durability. If you're in the military and on average walk several miles daily, the tread on these will wear down in months. This is my second pair and the tread has worn down within 4 months. It's a shame because i cant find another boot that are as comfortable as these.

Perfect for US Calvary!
I have purchased several pair of these boots for my son in the Army. He always has a pair and a spare for dress up military occasions. He says they are wonderful. Comfortable and great for very long days in or out of the field. Makes me feel good to know his feet are taken care of.

BUY THESE RIGHT NOW
I can not express how much I love these boots. I've been wearing them for almost a year, every day, and am going to buy several more pairs just incase they stop making them. They are light, flexible, durable, and don't scuff up. The laces are great, there's no rubbing on the top of my foot. I probably should have bought wide as they are VERY narrow and my toe gets a little squished. I'm so glad I took a chance on buying a boot I'd never tried on before.

Great boot. Highly recommend.
Great boot. Size 9.5 weighs in at 33.1oz. Had a bit of a rough break-in period due to the eyelet at the ankle. The backside of that rivet needs padding or something. I just skipped it. Though I bought for training and outside work, I wish these came in traditional boot colors (dark brown preferably) so I didn't look like a POG boot when running to Wal-Mart or Lowe's.

Great boot. I have put in at least 100 ...
Great boot. I have put in at least 100 miles in and these boots feel similar to a very stable running shoe. There wasn’t any break in that needed to be done. Highly suggest for long road marches, and hikes.
