Tasty but need to alter directions
My family and I love ramen so this looked like a fun and easy way to prepare it at home. I made one serving and it produced two modest size bowls (would equate to one large bowl like you get at a restaurant). I did get a little thrown off by the directions that started with “boil in a pot of water.” I didn’t realize that you wouldn’t be draining the noodles so you need to use the exact amount of water you’d want for the soup, which is given in milliliters. I did it wrong and ended up needing to pour off a lot of water before adding the seasoning. The flavor was very good. Need to add toppings and vegetables to make it a more hearty meal but this is a great base.

Amazing!!!!
This ramen is so delicious and tastes just like the ones you get in a restaurant. The broth is so tasty and not super overpowering like other broths I've tasted. You can add in chicken, a hard boiled egg, and some veggies to make it even more tasty.

Love the plant-based concept
Having dined at Ichiran in the past, I am well aware that their ramen is quite pricey. Even at $20 (at time of writing), this ramen kit which has enough for 2 servings is still pretty expensive. It's fairly easy to cook and the noodles do have a mildly bouncy texture which I enjoyed. I also really liked the plant-based approach as I am a huge fan of vegan ramen, especially from Ramen Danbo which is another large Japanese chain. It is quite creamy and a little on the sweeter side compared to regular ramen from Ichiran. The ramen kit is definitely cheaper and more accessible than dining at Ichiran, but I feel it is still too expensive for my preference, especially for noodles that aren't even fresh.

Great flavor, kit has everything you need except water!
This kit is enough for two servings. The two bundles of noodles are in the same package, but everything else was packaged individually. So, you get two packages each of dry spices, seasoning oil, and soup.I found this to be a rich, flavorful, and quite delicious dish. It's spicy, but definitely not the hottest ramen I've ever had. You do get everything you need (other than water) in this package. But, adding some additional ingredients can really take it to the next level.I added pork flavor plant protein strips. It really works well with this ramen since the broth is plant-based Tonkotsu flavor (pork bone flavor). In addition, I added bean sprouts, scallions, and baby spinach just before eating (they wilt to ideal texture right away). It made a dish just as yummy as the one I get at my favorite Japanese restaurant. It's similar to Pho if you like Vietnamese cuisine. This is currently around 20 bucks, and although it does sound pricey, I looked it up on the official ICHIRAN website and the price was the same. So, that is how much it costs to get a super high quality ramen kit like this. Since it will become the basis of a wonderful meal that serves two, I think it's actually not unreasonable if you're into premium ramen.I really enjoyed this a lot and I love that there are vegan options like this available today.
