This unit does exactly what it says it will do. Easy to install if you follow the instructions as written. I have had it not connect properly a couple of times, but this can be fixed by turning off the Bluetooth on the phone and then turning it back on.I cannot speak on music quality as my hearing is not so great. I only use it for audiobooks. The maps functions work well.

I was skeptical ordering, but in use found it to be quite a neat little device. Setup was a breeze (just make sure to follow the instructions in the booklet it comes with). I was wirelessly playing from my phone in under 1 minute.It does take a few seconds upon my car starting for it to sync up with my phone, but that’s no different than how long it took for my direct plug as well (in a Volvo XC60).One thing to keep in mind is that there is a second delay between pressing the skip button on my steering wheel and the phone skipping due to the time to transmit the wireless signal from the device and back. Not surprising though.I’ll certainly keep using this so I don’t need to always plug my phone in just to play my music! It solved one of my gripes with my car since Volvo never integrated wireless CarPlay with the older sensus models.

Overall the product is ideal but not all the time does my phone connect to it. I would have to unplug the device and replug it back in to get connected

I loved this product for two months. Now it doesn’t connect at all. I’ve played around with it, couldn’t solve the problem. Then asked my very knowledgeable son for help, but to no avail. Wish I could return it, but it’s too late.

Installed easily in a 2022 Silverado with wired car play. It works flawlessly with my iPhone 13 and no lag. Pleasantly surprised considering the price which was great! We’ll see if it holds up but so far so good after a few weeks.

I have tried several other brands of these and but they never worked consistently and really wanted them to! This works great! It has connected every time after 10-15 seconds. The directions were very clear where I feel directions with previous units were very vague. I think the key is if your phone connected to your car via bluetooth previously is to to go in on your phone, under bluetooth devices and click on "forget this device" for the car connection. You want it to connect to the "smart dongle device". Once in a while I noticed a little lag. Music/sound quality is do different than when connected with a cord. Plus I think the price on this device is the lowest of all the ones I tried!
