Colorful WiFi Bulbs Work Well
The bulbs were delivered on time. They were easy to set up and functioning as described. The variety of colors, though limited, are nice and add ambiance to the room. The ability to alter the brightness is a great feature. They maintain settings even when the light is turned off and will resume at the last set color and brightness selected. So far they're working flawlessly. I will try to update if that changes.

Easy to use with App.
Very cool product, screws into any regular lamp. Downloading app takes only 10 seconds and allows you to choose from million's of colors and allows you to pair two or more bulbs together. Energy efficient bulbs that allows real-time tracking via the app. They are the same size as any other bulb and works well with most lamp holders/spaces.

Best matter enabled smart bulb
As of writing this review, I've replaced all my pre-matter bulbs with these tapo ones and they are fantastic. No more having to worry about accounts disconnecting from one ecosystem to the other. Matter compatibility is just a humongous advantage.Onto the bulbs, they get super bright! Colors look as expected and do not hurt my eyes when on for long sessions (as some color bulbs do, I think it's CRI related).Main complaint; Tapo for the love of all that is good in this world, PLEASE change the device-reset combo from 3x on/off to 5x. Other bulbs like Wyze use 5x. With 3x, it's easy to accidentally reset the bulbs when futzing with the lights. Especially for guests!Minor complaint: I wish these got a little dimmer. But I know this is an extremely common issue with basically all LED bulbs. I will take the very high lumen output (and all the other features) if it means the dimmest option isn't dimmer than any other average dimmable LED bulb.

A life saver for arthritic loved ones
It was a tad difficult to set up and link to alexa but now that it is, it's a life saver for my loved one with disabilities at night. No more fumbling through the dark, or worrying anne arthritic hands being able to turn a lamp on. I feel better that they have it in their home on a lamp. They absolutely love it too

Thank you for offering live support.
I purchased the tapo lights a couple months ago and set them up very easily. However, my condo changed our internet service and I needed a new WI. Fi passcode, I tried multiple ways and was unsuccessful. I called Tapo customer service and was so happy to be able to talk to a human being. Renz on the support team helped walk me through how to set them up all over again. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciate talking to a human and not an AI voice or having too connect with something online. Working with Renz took me probably less than five minutes to set up the lights, whereas I had already spent probably forty five minutes looking online and trying to do it myself. Thank you for offering a live human support team.

Works with Google Home - YOU DO NOT NEED THE TAPO APP FOR BASIC USAGE!
These bulbs conform to the new Matter standard. They are easier to setup than the older, typical, smart home devices. If setting up on Google Home (via something like a nest mini) , and all you need are the basic functions, such as on/off, dimming, and white colors, you DO NOT NEED TO BOTHER WITH THE TAPO APP. They can be setup directly via the Google Home app.Open Google Home appClick "devices" on the bottomClick the "+" add device buttonClick the Scan QR code link and scan the included QR code stickers.Follow the prompts and you're done!Note: if buying a multi-pack, your QR code stickers will be floating around the bottom of the box. You will need to match the QR code on the sticker to the same code on the bulb.

Items work as Advertised - Kasa Technical Support is a JOKE
Any business can sell a product. What truly differentiates companies is how their customer service / technical support treat their customers. Kasa presently stands at an "F" for their customer service / technical support with me.I'm a 40+ year IT professional and thoroughly research any product(s) I purchase. Overall, Kasa seems to have a reputation for dependable products. As I build out my smart home ecosystem, I wanted to stick with one brand so as not to have to deal with multiple companies. So Kasa was the company, other than Amazon (i.e., Alexa) that I was going to build-out my smart home with.I've purchased several products from them (plugs, light bulbs and a camera). Overall satisfied with their products, but the hoops they require you to jump through to replace a product is laughable. When attempting to register a product, if a serial number is not recognized, then you have to call technical support. They also ask you to upload a copy of the invoice. This is fine for me, as I know how to work around the system like Amazon (where I buy my products) to get the invoice and upload to their site. But how does a "non-technical" person work through this?I started having a problem with one of the plugs I purchased from them. It started making a loud buzzing sound. I called technical support. Waited 30 minutes for a technical support person. This is where it gets fun. He wants me to video the plug in the socket making the noise and send him the video. Wonder how a grandma in Omaha would feel having to jump through that hoop? So I did the video and sent it to him. Was this enough? Nope. He wanted me to send him a copy of the invoice. Okay, no problem. Downloaded it from Amazon and sent it over to him. He told me "We'll, get a new plug out to you." Okay great.Well, don't get your hopes up - I was sent another e-mail from another technical support person, asking me to go online and "register" the plug and "upload a copy of the invoice" (which I had already sent to the first tech person).Long story short. KEEP AWAY FROM KASA. Products, when they do work correctly, are GOOD. BUT! If you NEED TECHNICAL SUPPORT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A REPLACEMENT you WILL meet a wall of resistance - and will have to JUMP THROUGH A LOT OF HOOPS. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY from Kasa.I'm glad I learned about them quickly, when I had only invested a couple of hundred bucks in their products. I can trash what I have and start with a QUALITY company who VALUES their customers .So, if you purchase from them - you've been warned. You get what you pay for. And Kasa figures we don't pay for technical support so we don't get it.So, CONGRATULATIONS to Techs Luis and Danielle. Not only did you cost your company my business, but many other's business who look to me for computer and smart home recommendations. And I'm hoping this review will lose you at least 10-20 people. We'll see how it goes. Shame on you for having poor technical support representatives.
