Note: I originally ordered the L020 model but then switched to the W120 model. This review is about the W120 system.The W120 alarm system was exactly what I was looking for. The setup was very quick and simple and the alarm works as promised. The siren is sufficiently loud. The WiFi connection is reliable and the app is simple to use — being able to manage the alarm from the app (without paying a fee, as some companies require) was one of the most attractive features to me. I also love that I can use the app to set a timer so the alarm automatically turns on at night and off in the morning. Additionally, the W120 integrates with my Nest and Google Home, which adds convenience in the control of my connected devices.Smanos also has an impressive suite of accessories for the system, more than many of the other companies I researched. I’m only using the door sensors and remote control right now but hope to start testing out some of the other accessories soon.I can also give good marks for Smanos’ customer service. As mentioned above, I decided to swap out the L020 device for the W120, which has some features that work better for my needs. Smanos responded to my email request the same day and when I later called customer service I was quickly able to connect with someone in Dallas to help me. They made the swap process very simple.There are a LOT of DIY alarm systems on the market and I researched many of them for several weeks before making the purchase. Based on features, cost, mobile app, and lack of monthly contract requirement, Smanos came out on top and I’m happy with my decision.

Llevo ya más de un mes con esta alarma instalada en casa y por ahora encantado.Es sencilla de instalar (en menos de 3 minutos lo consigues). Los sensores de las puertas son bastantes discretos, y su aplicación, con la que suelo interactuar con la alarma, es muy sencilla y rápida (tarda muy poco en cargar en el iPhone y remotamente funciona perfectamente). Además la alarma monta un estruendo increíble cuando salta algún sensor que se enteran todos los vecinos que es lo que quería.El único fallo que por ahora le pongo es que solo permite (o al menos eso creo yo) conectar un smartphone como control remoto, y por lo tanto solo avisa a una persona si la alarma detecta algún tipo de intrusión. Creo que lo interesante es que se avisara a toda mi unidad doméstica para asegurarnos de que estamos al tanto de lo que está pasando. Aun así estoy encantado con ella!!
