I bought these to hold a oven door close (the original mechanism was broken). My previous attempt at using a Neodymium magnet failed over a few weeks presumably because the temp was too high. This second attempt is still holding 5 months later with no sign of it weakening yet.Also to withstand the heat I had to use a High Temp glue (linked) Visbella Silicone Oven Glass Door Gasket Seal High Temperature Heat Resistant from -80ºF to 600ºF (Black)

Our oven door couldn`t close properly, so I used them without glue or anything. They stay properly hooked to the oven itself, whilst keeping the door closed. I think I bought them a few months ago, they lost a bit of power since then (it`s normal for magnets, they`re being used 27/4), but they still do the job and make our life easy! :)

What does that really mean? I bought the magnets to stick a stove fan to the side of a wood burner as I didn’t have the clearance overhead for the fan to fit conventionally. With 3.3 kg pull advertised I thought two magnets should do this with no bother. I’m no magnet scientist but two of these magnets had practically no effect on a 600g fan and it just slid off. I still had use for the magnets elsewhere in my house. That asides, good packaging and nice finish to the magnets. They stick together really well and other ferrous metals no problem, don’t expect them to hold weight.

Well that solved a big problem in our household. My wife is a happy bunny now! These magnets corrected the problem of our Leisure cooker CK1007232 oven door (top right) always hanging open and being a pain in the neck. Now we have a tight fit and correct cooking temps and times.

Was hesitant in buying these as I thought it was pretty expensive for a couple of magnets. But my oven door broke and one of these has sorted that issue instantly. Really happy

Magnets are extra powerful once they stick together, however together with postage, proved too expensive for two small pieces of magnets.

I used these on my broken oven door and they work perfectly. Much cheaper than a replacement part.
