Innovative Percussion Fundamental Series Mallets, inch (F9)

Worked great for my daughters xylophone!

These are good beginnner mallets and mallets that any professional should own. They work great on the xylophone and playing woodblock/temple blocks. Owned a pair for 20 years that recently broke and purchased another set of four to add to my collection as a performance percussion player.

these are great sounding mallets. The black paint on the stick comes off and gets all over your hands tho?? Could they have a recall and put some sealer over the paint so it doesnt get all over everything? I dont even have sweaty hands and it is VERY dry where we live. I’d hate to see what happens if someone has sweaty hands and lived in a humid climate. I hope the paint is non toxic.

Odered a set for my son and I. We are novice xylophone players using a rebuilt rosewood three octave xylphpne. The mallets seem durable and we are happy with them.

The rubber was so hard it was like hard plastic. Had to go to a music store to see what we were getting. Unusable.
