Stopped the squeak
My old belt was squeaky, and I replaced the tensioner twice before my mechanic told me it was the old belt. The new one was quite easy to install, fit like a glove, and wella! The squeaking was handled. Has been working like a charm ever since.

Works just fine on my Mazda Miata for the top belt of alternator and water pump. Great price too of less than $10. AutoZone tried 4 different belts and none fit and said they would have to order it.
