Awesome in every way!!! First, my tablet was sent out and I received it within 2 days. Then, I did notice that my SIM card tray was gone. I sent the seller a msg (here's the Awesomest part) they responded IMMEDIATELY and apologized for it not being with my tablet. Told me they would get it sent out the very next business day. Early that Monday morning, I received another message apologizing again and confirming that the tray was sent out. That too, only took 2 days. My tablet itself is awesome!! I will definitely be a return customer!!! (The case my tablet is in DID NOT come with my tablet. I'm just not comfortable taking it out of the case.)

I bought this to replace my daughters 5yr old kindle. It works great. Easy to set up. And was super easy to have added to our Cricket plan.

Another piece of crap from Samsung. It seems that all Samsung tablets have built-in LTE/5 G support, but they are designed not to allow the tablets to make phone or SMS calls without a cellular connection. This is unique only to the crappy Samsung devices. I'll never buy anything else with the Samsung name on it.

This Samsung Tab A9+ is NOT a true cell phone. I.e., it uses data to make a WiFi call instead of being counted towards your unlimited talk and text phone plan.Moreover, you have to enable "data roaming" to make a cell phone call, which is too bad. I wanted a 2nd phone in the form of a table to take advantage of a larger screen, but apparently Tablets are not meant to compete with cell phone plans. So, be prepared to pay for data when making a cell phone call and when streaming data with this device.Next, you can't use this Tablet to output an HDMI video signal from the USB-c port. It's not compatible, Period.Alternatively, I will buy a Samsung S-21 or S-22 Ultra to get true cell phone plan rates and I understand this device does support HDMI output from the USB-c port so I can connect it to my computer monitor using a USB-c to HDMI dongle.

Wow - like new, I love it. I bought this especially for using Lyft and Uber - need a big screen size because of vision problems. Haven't tried it yet with the sim card, I'll report back on this in a few days. [Yes, sim card works great - see 3rd paragraph.]I buy a lot of renewed/refurbished products on Amazon including PCs, always selecting the best-rated seller, and always selecting Excellent or Like New condition. Haven't had to return anything yet. In this case the original 3rd party seller had poor ratings, so I searched the page for "Other sellers on Amazon" and bought this from Cellmigo. Also over the following week the price kept falling, so I contacted them and they immediately credited me the difference - thank you, Cellmigo! (Just fyi for returns, buyer needs to be a Prime member, otherwise there could be a restocking charge.)07/27/2024: I bought a T-Mobile sim card and bought TM's cheapest monthly plan for $15 per month. Service is working great. Now I have internet access everywhere. For example I could be in the park browsing data or using the Lyft app even though no wifi connection is available. (When wifi is available, switch back and forth between wifi and 5G by turning wifi on or off. The tablet will say "5G" upper right when you are in 5G.)
