We have a solid core garage door that is very heavy. It has a swing shut "feature" that makes it an inconvenient when you want to bring in a lot of items from through the door. I've needed something for this door that I could easily put on and off. This one allows me to use my foot to push it down to hold, which is very helpful when your arms are full of groceries! It's made from a very strong and sturdy metal. I liked that. it was easy to install and came with a plastic backing that we used to help mark the dots on the door to install the included screws. It did not come with instructions, so we had to eyeball and guess a bit on where to put it on the door. Be careful or you will install it too high and the kick won't reach the floor. Once it went in we immediately started using it. It comes with two stops, so we have another door that blows shut when the wind blows, we will use it there. Highly recommend.

These Kick-down Door Stops from HUTLON are really well made and have a smooth operation. I replaced a couple of cheap door stops I had on my outside garage doors that never lasted from being exposed to the elements. These new kick down are made to last, you can tell by the quality of the material used.The thing about these door stops is the kick level release. Instead of trying to pry the stop up by wedging your toe behind the stop - with these door stops you just step on the lever and the door stop pops up. Very convenient.

The media could not be loaded. This door stop looks pretty nice over all but the snap back when you lift it back up is pretty aggressive and it hurts if you have bare feet and don’t move them out of the way fast enough. I don’t have kids but if I did, I would not use this, could see it easily hurting a child.The black screws it comes with with too short to hold this into my door correctly. I had to find some old screw to use to ensure it was secure (gold ones in the picture). Overall, I do not love this product for functionality and it was not an easy installation process, especially with the short screws. It does look very nice though.

I bought this to prop open the door from my house to the garage. It is a self-closing heavy fire door. The door stopper is exactly what I needed. It is heavy-duty and works like a charm. Installation was easy, and it can be controlled with the flip of a foot. Great product.

I was very excited about this door stop. We have always had the old kind that you kick down dn have to lift back up manually. My wife has wanted one if these for a while so I finally got one and it was glorious. So much better than the old one. Not having to spend extra time to lift it back up and it even held the door better. Then after only two weeks the spring came off. The end bent out if place and I tried to fix it but it kept bending back. On top of that it was very hard to get back on and the small rod it connects to kept falling out and is now lost as well.I think the concept is great. Maybe look for a little better product though.

This set of 2 door stoppers are perfect for any door. Its very sturdy and strong. I love the spring mechanism of the lever. All you have to do is step on the lever to bring the door stop up. Its easy to install and comes with mounting screws.
