I took a chance on this little gem. I liked the concept, read the reviews, and the best part is it was on sale at the time. At the very worst, I took a chance on an appliance that didn't work for me, for the price of Mendocino Farms sandwich. Even my girlfriend thought I was wasting my money when I bought it. But... what a pleasant surprise! Not only does it make a beautifully cooked egg the way she likes it, I can confidently make it the same way each time! My girlfriend now concedes it was a great purchase, and I get a smile and a "Good boooooy!" from her every time! ;-) Now.... a couple things to be aware of just to help maximize your enjoyment of it: In the beginning, there was a slightly strange smell emanating from the unit, but don't freak out. Probably the smell of the unit's components heating up for the first time, I'm not sure. That will eventually go away. I've used this about 10 times now, so yea, the smell is gone. You need to experiment a bit with each setting. Don't take the setting descriptions as gospel, but as a helpful marker as to cooking time. For instance, the number one setting cooks the egg the least amount of time. If you leave it in the cooker too long after the timer dings, it will continue cooking the egg more. The cooker will still be hot and continue cooking the egg to a point. Also, if the unit is already hot because you "preheated it" or had already made one egg, it will alter the expected results at well. So, you will need to experiment a bit to dial in how it handles cooking and make some notes. Other than that, it's everything everyone else raves about it - compact, easy to use, easy to clean, egg comes out great. I was going to take a photo of the finished egg, but why? It would just look like the other photos already in the reviews. I love the spatula that comes with it. I would love to see them include an oil brush or clever oil dispenser as well, so I'm not always having to use a paper towel to spread out the cooking oil on the surface. Also, a dual unit would be awesome! But, when it's on sale, just buy two - or more. Ok, the unit just chimed - time for breakfast! PRODUCT UPDATE 6/29/2026 - After one year of using this egg maker almost every day, I decided to, pull the trigger and bought another cooker during Amazon prime days. Now, I can get breakfast-for-two done quicker. Also, you need only a drop or two of oil, then spread it around with a small piece of paper towel top and bottom of the non-stick surfaces and you're golden. Just clean with water afterwards with what is left of the paper towel then dry. FUN FACT - I think people complained that the beep noise signaling that the egg was ready was very loud, so on my second unit, the beep noise is way quieter! LOL

Love it; makes runny, soft, and hard eggs. Easy to clean. Great for everyday use. Haven't gotten burned.

Bought this with the intention of making at home breakfast sandwhiches and does not disappoint. Very easy to use and clean. Will save previously used setting. One thing to note is the egg is absolutely sizzling when done and you can even hear it as it cooks. With the right seasoning this beats Mickey Ds breakfast.

The second setting makes the perfect Sunnyside up egg....finally something that works...its expensive but you get what you pay for if you like dunking toast and bacon into the yolk this is the tool for you! Im impressed !!!..just wish it was bigger for 2 eggs but I can work around that ...the first egg stays warm while cooking the second egg toast and microwave the bacon....the white is solid perfect consistency while the yolk is still runny for dunking!!! Brush Olive oil on top and bottom, Comes with spatula..

I never thought I would like this because it just seemed like another appliance in my kitchen. My friend told me about it and how she likes eggs that she could dip in and egg sandwich’s. I thought my granddaughters would use it so I purchased it. It is great! I can cook two eggs and toast in the same amount of time. My husband gets his over easy (2) and I get mine over medium (3). You get the entire egg in a round circle. Paper towel cleans it up. It comes with a small spatula that works well. My granddaughters get up later and can make them sunny side up (1). The circle is as big as a piece of Canadian bacon so I’m anxious to try a sandwich next time. Recommend it!

I would most definitely recommend. Its like making the perfect egg with out worry . Although I did not like the first cooking button. Thats was the only egg I didn't like. I tried all settings of egg . And over all I'd say yes it worth it . Just get the color you want . It's A (BUY)

Great to not have clean up. Very easy to use. Only wish there were one more setting as there is too much difference in cooking time between first two settings. Great if you like Sunnyside up or Hard.

Merveilleux ! Je n'ai jamais mangé d'oeuf aussi bon! Très facile à opérer et à nettoyer. Il est dispendieux mais il en vaut le coût ! Je suis très satisfaite et le recommande très fortement.

This item is 120 volt and US plug so it is incompatible in Australia. This is not stated on the Amazon product page. I should get a refund but postage is to the USA and not covered in the refund. Don't be ripped off like I was, if you are not USA based avoid this product. Mine will go in the bin. Caveat emptor I suppose.
