Snaring Emberly (Morally Black)

Yet another great read from Gigi, I absolutely loved Taming Seraphine & Snaring Emberly did not disappoint. She really knows how to do mafia dark romance.I knew already from the get go that I’d love Roman & Emberly, she was another fiesty FMC who put Roman the mafia Don in his place, and make him work for the things he needed to be sorry for! Emberly at times was naive & Roman massively knew how to get his own way, which frustrated me at times and I just wanted to shake him and her, I was rooting for him, but he really didn’t help himself. She certainly had Roman wrapped round her little finger, when he wasn’t being an ass, and I loved the way they’re dynamic changes as the story goes on! Emberly definitely bought out her inner devil in a few scenes, go Emberly, and I would not of wanted to be Roman! (IYKYK).The story was gripping, and kept me wanting more, i read through it super quick (and she’s a thickkkkkkkk) as I just needed more and more. There was a little less spice than Taming Seraphine, but it was spicing non the less. A great second book for the trilogy, and no doubt the next will be the same.We saw some snippets from Cesare & Rosalind, and that has me super excited for book 3.5⭐️ star read, 3 star spice 🌶️🔥Please, as always be responsible and check the trigger warnings!🔥

He was so possessive of Emberly and was just completely infatuated with her. I enjoyed seeing how soft he became for her despite wanting revenge (in particular the grovelling). Emberly, was just fantastic! I loved how feisty and strong she still was despite her psychopath ex-boyfriend coming after her. The dynamic between Roman and Emberly was just delicious — the chemistry, tension and spice in this was just incredible🥵.This was such an excellent read that I just devoured it in one sitting! I found it to be written well and it was full of manipulation, tension, chemistry and obsession. Gigi’s world building is fantastic and I enjoyed the cameos from Leroi and Seraphine. This read is highly recommended and I cannot wait to read about Cesare and Rosalind in the next instalment — Breaking Rosalind ❤️‍🔥⚠️Please check for triggers before proceeding to read⚠️

Book was great. A lot lighter than taming seraphine and im glad for that. I absolutely loved emberly she was so string and feisty!! I love how she didn’t run into Roman and forgive him so quickly. I loved her constant backchat and refusal to bend to him. On the other hand I loved romans deception and the lengths he went to to keep em. Minus how he made her feel I loved how much he wanted her and continued to want her. I really believed in their love story and I love so much they finally got the HEA they deserved. Only part we didn’t really get to see was tommys confession to what he did to their mum and what his brothers witness Tommy doing. Im excited for the next book but a lil scared at what will occur between them. Im also really intrigued in benitos story too. Another great book by Gigi! I deffo recommend

I loved the main characters. Although I believe this is the first book I've read where the male main character does something that riles me up more than the female main character, usually the FMCs naïvety is annoying but emberly has easily become one of my favourite characters.

Like the first I loved it. I had a hard time at about 60-70% and did a bit of skipping (sorry!) but I overall loved it. I liked that the FC didn’t give in easy and I liked that the lies weren’t just silly, petty lies. Full of excitement. There was just a lot of talk around missions that maybe could have been shorter. But I 100% recommend

I’ll be honest. I was hesitant going into this. I was so in love with Taming Seraphine that I wasn’t sure I would be able to open up to Emberly. I have to say that I’m so glad I dove in.I love storylines that focus on different characters in the same universe, but sometimes they tend to be the same story over and over. It was gratifying to find that the dynamics of Roman and Emberly were so different than Leroi and Seraphine. It didn’t feel like reading another version of the previously released book.Both sets of main characters were able to take common themes and create completely different stories that keep you entertained.One of my favorite things about Emberly was being able to relate to her battle within herself. We spend a lot of time trying figure out if we should trust our gut feeling or are we just manifesting fear. Am I crazy or am I on to something? While the situations in the story are extreme, the feelings and worries are super relatable.I cannot wait to jump into the next story and find out what happens next.

Amazing

I loved this book. I’m such a fan!! Honestly the story was so perfect. There wasn’t too much in any one area, & there was enough spice with the right amount of skepticism by the fmc for me to actually connect with her. Also I actually kinda hated the MMC at beginning. And I thought it was perfect for the story not to let up on his villain-ishness till well, u just gotta read it! For me, there wasn’t any lull to the plot and also there wasn’t any skipping parts & just briefing over parts like a lot of authors tend to do. Every part of this story was detailed well and explained well from both points of view. Now this doesn’t have any of the same vibes as first book. Completely different story with some of the same family members. Great Job Gigi Styx! U’ve caught a fan 4 life here!

Gigi Styx has yet to disappoint. Cannot wait to see what she has next for us. This book was absolutely a stunner. The way this book had me GIGGLING.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single second of reading this book and definitely adding to re-read again. 😉Now I am waiting for Cesare and Rosalind's story 🥵🤯 and I really hope that there will be book for Benito too..🥹🥹🙏🏻

Wow this book was so good! I loved all of it I loved that MC was so strong and badass I can’t believe this book hasn’t been snatched up by booktok yet it was amazing read and I loved that it was a longer book too so we could really get to know the charactersSPOILERS!!only that I wish was different was the ending I won’t say to much but I wish we got more of the ending I under the book was already long but I wish we just got a bit more of their life at the end but I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

But then over time he of course falls in love with her.And then of course Emberly going to find out. Can Roman grovel his way back? And yes 👏🏼 we love a man that grovels!Enjoyed the spice but…I’m a smutoholic and wish there was more. Emberly was a bad ass FMC and I love the exposure of the effects of gaslighting! Good story line. Great read!We don’t get to see much of Sera and Leroi in this one. But I didn’t see they will be more present in Cesare and Rosalind (super excited to unlock those shminks)
