I'm 6'3 220 lbs. I normally wear a Large, and occasionally an XL in some brands. Based on past experience with Amazon, I trusted my gut and ordered a couple sizes up, and this was the right call. The 2XL of this shirt fits nicely. It's snug enough around my chest and stomach to hold the pads in place without making me feel constricted. If I had ordered an XL instead, it probably would have fit like an overly tight compression shirt.The shirt itself feels well-made. The fabric is light and stretchy, and the pads are thick and soft.

Sizes run small but seems to be good quality

These do RUN small - my husband usually wears a medium - and it's too tight. I am ordering large now - beware - it's $8.95 to ship it back. IT's lightweight and very comfortable, and my husband is picky. Wish they had more colors. What a GREAT price!! IT's regularly $90. Lifesaver for my husband who has balance issues and the cushions are very soft - spongy and protects him.

We’ve tried several padded shirts for football. He was so uncomfortable in every one we’ve tried. I love that we found one with that he would wear and with a VERY affordable price tag!! 🏈

This is a well made shirt with quality padding in all the right places. This shirt is comparable to G-form or Under Armor shirts but at a much more reasonable price. The pads are Poron XRD which is reactive material similar to G-form or the D3O used in the Under Armor version. I'd say that Poron XRD is far better than the Nike Hypersport shirts which only have dense foam. The shirt is a compression fit and true to size. My only gripe is that I wish they made it in other colors. I would recommend this shirt.

Purchased for son to use for roller hockey! Awesome protection when r decides not to wear full hockey equipment

I purchased this shirt for my son as a back up to one he has used for a year. It has now become his "go to" football shirt. It washes well and has held up to many practices, games and multiple washes each week. My son loves it and says it is comfortable. It saves his pads and jersey from rubbing under his arms and sides. I will probably buy another so I don't have to wash it every single day. Just be sure to hang to dry after washing. I would definitely recommend this shirt.
