Window Weatherstrip Seal 1/4" Bulb Bubble Kerf Mount 4 Colors & 6 Length Options

Took 1.5 hours to do 8 windows. Previous product (soft kerf) took 2.5 hours to do 4 windows. Very easy to install with rigid kerf. Also has a better seal than previous product. Ordered another 18'.

This worked perfectly for a door replacement insulation gap filler. I tried several times to use what Home Depot was selling, but it was too big and I couldn’t shut the door. Then I returned it and tried a different kind. Then I returned that too. A week later it started falling out of the track. I’m going to have to stuff something else in there along the spline. I shoved some thin rope in the gap - about the width of half a shoelace - alongside the spline and it’s fine now.

Excellent Quality. Love the stiff channel insert for easy installation. The bubble is strong and pliable. The best that I have used.

This weatherstripping is flexible and easy to install. I used it to replace the weatherstripping for all of my double hung windows in my house, which created a better seal at the bottom of the lower windows and a better seal where the top and bottom windows overlap. It reduced the noise and drafts from the windows. I was anticipating that it would be a lot of work, but installing the weatherstripping wasn't any more difficult than removing the old weatherstripping. It was a perfect fit into the grooves of the windows.

My house had all of the windows replaced in the late 70s. Installed were super quality, wood windows. After 40 years of Minnesota winters and several paint jobs, these seals were looking really rough and probably not doing as much as they should with respect to weather proofing our home. Ordered this product and it was a perfect fit for the old seal! Advantage was the windows are being painted white, so I was able to get the white seal to match my new color. Bulb is slightly thicker than old one which will certainly seal more effectively. Only advice I have to offer is if you’re painting double hung windows, take them out of the jambs and pull the old seals before you paint. They come out much more easily, plus you’re able to get some paint around where the seal sets.

8' is not 10' i needed 10' of this weatherstrip. What i got was 8' . I went thru my last order lucky i had 27" left from another roll. Please use a tape measure when selling the item!

J’aurais aimé que la compagnie fasse une produit avec un diamètre plus gros car celui que j’ai utilisé était légèrement trop petit. Je l’ai tout de même utilisé mais je ne sais pas si ça fera le travail. J’avais pourtant mesuré mon ancien produit et ça semblait être le même diamètre et pourtant lorsque je l’ai reçu et essayé il était plus petit que prévu et j’avais commandé la plus grande longueur mais une fois utilisée un bout on ne peut plus le retourner. Donc si vous commandez prenez soin de bien mesurer le diamètre de votre produit actuel , choisissez la plus petite longueur car une fois une partie utilisée impossible de retourner le produit!
