The material is very soft and it fits well. It's easy to put on and it leaves some toes out for the extra comfort. I was able to sleep with it on without it bothering me. It's well made and heavy duty. My foot feels better after using this.

I liked this splint because it does not cover your entire foot and leg therefore it is cool to wear. The support and padding is comfortable. The most IMPORTANT THING tu understand is this splint is NOT supposed to be pulled tight as to try and stretch your plantar fasciitis or heel spur by pulling it up towards your shin. This splint is to keep your foot and shin in an “L” position. This is to prevent your foot from dropping down while you sleep. Iit does not need to be pulled very tight. The second MOST IMPORTANT thing is PATIENCE. Watch the videos on line until you understand how it goes on. (Bend bar into “L “ position and place on top of foot. Padding should be against your shin.Wrap strap around and secure. Next pull top strap around leg and secure. Secure middle strap last) After several tries you can leave the first strap closed and just slide your foot intoIt when putting on splint. )! Do not give up. Directions that come with it are not too helpful so watch on line.I Itsounds complicated but it is not. Once you figure it out it is easy to sleep with it on and walking is not too hard. Your foot should heal when resting it with splint on at night. It is not as helpful for heel spur and more helpful for sprain, plantar fasciitis or foot drop. Give it a try for any of these conditions. You have nothing to lose for this well priced, well made splint!

First morning in years without that awful foot pain. The splint stays perfectly in place all night no adjusting, no fuss, just comfortable, lasting results.

I have been suffering from pain in my right foot and most things I have tried is itchy or uncomfortable to wear at night! I found that I have restful nights and no pain during the day!

It works. The velcro sticks to everything. The velcro gets worn out fast. Works good in the beginning, but then duds out. Used it for a few months.

So disappointed! I followed all of the instructions but found the fit to be either uncomfortable or ineffective or both. (I will say that wearing a sock did help somewhat with the discomfort, though ideally I'd prefer not to have to wear a sock to bed, in addition to the already restrictive boot.)Depending on how I have it situated, the metal piece digs into the top of my foot; or, if looser, my foot can move too much such that the splint isn't doing its job. Many of the straps don't seem to do a whole lot, and the one that has the most impact (the middle one that pulls up on the toes) isn't lined up with Velcro pad, if I pull it tight enough to do anything worthwhile. I've had to attach it to a different part of the device to get any value.And speaking of the Velcro... The ankle strap Velcro was shot in about two weeks. The rest are still holding on for now, but two more of them (the calf and the critical middle one) seem to be wearing quite a bit already, and I've only been using the splint for about 6 weeks. I guess I'm going to look for a better one. If I successfully locate one, I'll come back here to share what I find!

Plantar fasciitis is a long haul no matter what you do, but this product helped from day one. Adjusting the metal insert and front straps involves some trial and error, but once it is done the splint is very comfortable and does exactly what it is designed to do.
