Grand Designs at 25: Game-changing designs from the iconic series

Got this as a present for my mum, but had a flick through myself as I love the show. Any fan would love this a gift for xmas!

As an architect I love a great book filled with architectural images and so it’s hard to not enjoy going through this. Although I haven’t seen every grand designs episode seeing all of these selected homes I can understand why they were chosen. There is a wide range of projects and styles so it’s a great reference guide to follow when searching for a particular detail.

This book is a must-have for any fans of the TV programme Grand Designs. It includes many houses included in the series over the years and provides a fascinating insight into them. Recommended.

If you're a fan of the show then you'll be a fan of this! I absolutely love looking at other peoples ideas and designs when it comes to interior and exterior design work - no matter how big or small. This book really does cover all the greats that the show has seen over the last 25 years. If you need a coffee table book for display, then this is your one! The hardback cover did come a bit dented in the corners but nothing serious.Beautiful display of homes and a beautiful book - would definitely recommend.

Kevin McCloud has selected some of the most ambitious builds and provides a bit of information about each one.The book is full of lovely photos of the buildings, I found myself lost for hours in this book, enjoying reading about the ones I remember from the programme and coming across others that I’ve not seen before.This book would make a lovely gift for anyone who is a fan of Grand Designs.
