These keep failing. 10 year guarantee from the manufacturer isn't worth the paper its written on - the manufacturer won't honour it unless its professionally installed, and even when it is, and registered properly, they won't talk to you - it has to come via the original retailer, even if the serial numbers were registered on their website at time of installation. The cost of professional installation is higher than getting a new one via Amazon and fitting it yourself. JCC are total crooks. The failure rate about 1 in 10, and of those, they last 1-2 years, not 10 as advertised. My advice: unless you need to replace an identical item, choose a GU10 fitting with replaceable bulbs and fit LED bulbs. Please note: this is not a criticism of the retailer but of the product and the company which manufacturer them. Maybe in the 19th century this attitude to customer service and professional installation was acceptable, but they need to drag themselves into the internet age.
