Decent quality at a good price

I was pleasantly surprised by these. I have a number of makita cordless tools and a 3 amp makita charger. These, of course, will only charge to the output of the charger, but that’s been enough. Good spares to have as backup and good value for money. They are not great to power a grinder, but then don’t expect a cordless to power through hard materials without going through a couple of batteries, but drills and radios they are perfect for. Not had any problem charging them. They are keeping my old makita tools going for a while longer .

Ordered this item consisting of two batteries, used one straight away and it worked fine so continued to use it and left second one in box as a spare. When first battery died, placed it in charger and put the spare in the drill, again, worked OK as I assume it was delivered with a charge in it. First battery now charged up OK so when second battery died, started using the now charged first battery and put the second one on charge, but it doesn't take a charge. Also as it was by now past the 30 day returns policy I cannot return it so I'm stuck with one working and one non working battery Giving overall review of 2* as the one that DOES work seems OK UPDATE - After maybe two charges, the one that WAS charging now isn't, total waste of money and no recourse as past 30 days. They obviously know the chances of failure are likely after 30 days !

Great value for money. They fit any Makita/makita knockoff tools well, they keep the power for long, charge relatively quickly and perform just as well as genuine batteries. Had them for a few months now and they work well.

dont last very long

Excellent fitting and long lasting batteries great for my daily use of Makita tools. I got one for my dad as well and he also loves it, he is a builder so he can be using these batteries up to 8-10 hours a day.

Working well for me, a great price, probably not 5.0ah but better than the old batteries they replace.
