Active Gum Repair Toothpaste for Bleeding Gums, Fresh Mint, 75ml

If brushing your teeth with thick minty salt water were a thing, this is it! Bought this as I’ve had a little trouble with bleeding gums and to be fair, after a couple of weeks usage it has made a difference; I’ve got less inflammation and less bleeding. But my word, the taste is not good. I’d say you get used to it, but you really don’t. However I didn't buy it for the taste, I bought it to help repair gums and I would say it’s doing what it needs to and I’ll certainly be buying more in the future.

This is a great toothpaste. Before using this I suffered with mouth ulcers really badly and I found out that the ulcers and mouth soreness are caused by a foaming agent called sodium lauryl sulphate which is in most toothpastes. Since changing to this I've not had any problems with mouth ulcers. Some people complain about the taste but it's down to personal choice and I really like it. It is a strong taste that lasts so I tend to use it after breakfast instead of before. If you suffer from mouth ulcer this is definitely worth a try.

I have very sensitive and decayed teeth, and am in the process of having restorative dentistry. I also have autism and sensory issues with a lot of strong toothpaste flavours. I got a severe telling off about the plaque on my teeth recently, and despite using an expensive prescription toothpaste (Colgate duraphat) for a couple of months, the results weren’t what I hoped for. So I went back to the drawing board. So yes, I am quite fussy. I need a toothpaste that is both gentle yet cleaning, and has a taste which I am ok with. I got a sample of this from my dentist, and was so impressed by it that I ordered the full size here. There is quite a strong baking soda esque taste with this, which is not a surprise as it contains sodium bicarbonate. This takes over or matches the strong mint (in my opinion), which makes it more acceptable to me. Those used to just mint may find it a bit of a change. Brushing with it produces a large amount of foam. I pair it with a soft toothbrush, and I feel like I get a decent clean. One thing I’ve also noticed is that my gums don’t bleed as much if at all now. Whether this is down to the toothbrush or the toothpaste I’m not sure, but no complaints here. I can’t say how long a large tube will last, but a sample 15ml lasted me a couple of weeks, so I have high hopes. Yes, it’s pricier than other toothpastes, however I find it to be pretty much the only toothpaste I am able to use comfortably that also offers more benefits than something like aquafresh. So I am willing to pay. You also get the odd coupon off Amazon, and I ended up paying around £3 which imo is a decent price. I will add however that it’s not a jack of all trades and has no whitening properties. Four stars as I haven’t yet noticed any incredible plaque removal yet, and it is pricier than most, however I will update if that changes.

I like Corsodyl products and this was no exception. Great tasting. Helped with sensitive teeth. Very effective at leaving my teeth exceptionally clean. Very fresh breath and mouth after cleaning my teeth. And it was good value for money in my opnion

i have picked out many toothpastes over several years to help specifically with bleeding gums, none of which worked. Over the past 6 months the bleeding has become to be significant leaving me concerned ... and then, chatgpt gave me three alternatives, two others that were as pricey as the others that had failed ... and this one. I've been using it now for not quite a week and you can see from my headline it is, literally outstanding. The bizarre bit is because a) this is a dull white, paste, not bright ... and texture wise is hard to explain ... not quite playdo like ... but close. and b) the taste ... i actually cannot describe it .. it is NOT mint .. there's almost a sherberty quality to it, and a hint of cloves ... and i have to say, not only is it original but a refreshing (in many ways) change from mint ... and my gums have almost entirely stopped bleeding ... for three days .. which means it took effect within three days as well. i will write a follow up later on but i did not expect this ... relieved, delighted and cannot see me changing.

I didn’t think a toothpaste could make me feel emotionally supported… but here we are. Bought Corsodyl Active Gum Repair after my gums started behaving like they were auditioning for a low-budget vampire film. A bit of pink in the sink every morning? Not ideal. Enter this minty little hero. First few uses, I won’t lie — it tastes like it means business. Not your sugary “dessert pretending to be toothpaste” vibe. This is more “I pay council tax on time” energy. But after a week? Bleeding stopped. Gums calmer. Sink no longer looks like a crime scene. Fresh mint is strong enough to wake the dead (or at least your partner), and my mouth feels clinically, aggressively clean.
