Has a much more full and booming sound compared to my old LG stereo soundbar. Voices are much easier to hear and I don’t struggle as much with trying to find the “right volume” anymore. Finally being able to use Dolby Atmos is nice as well - maybe not as dramatic of an effect without the rear speakers, but still fills the room nicely.I would recommend turning LG’s “AI Sound Pro” OFF - with it on, I found it to be really inconsistent, even when calibrating it with my LG C4 - it was usually lacking bass and making voices sound thin. I suspect this setting is why some complain about the lack of bass on this soundbar/subwoofer. The bass sounds HUGE when you turn AI Sound Pro off, trust me.Using the Standard or Cinema presets makes it sound how I would expect across all content. The Auto Volume feature is a good one to turn on if you don’t want to have to crank the volume way up, and does a good job normalizing the volume, no matter what I’m watching. Really nice upgrade overall and didn’t break the bank!

Hooked this up with my 2018 LG 65" C8. Sounds Great! Extremely fast and easy install!TV remote, automatically controls sound bar volume.Be sure to follow the instructions on the correct order to plug in the power for each speaker. Bluetooth synced automatically.Would definitely buy again!!

I have an LG TV, and wanted better sound quality. This sound bar and subwoofer was a match for the model of my TV.TV recognized it immediately after connecting with the TV, and allows you to control it from the TV's menus and the TV's remote control. It has great sound quality and the subwoofer is plenty loud too. Makes movie night so much better. Love the quality, sound, and the price point was good in my opinion.

Connected to my LG 75" Class - QNED85 Series - 4K UHD QNED Mini-LED TV via HDMI ARC and works great. It took some sound adjustment via the LG ThinQ app to get the quality I wanted. Mainly, voices sounded washed out and low with the surround sound until I increased the center sound bar input. The bass is good but I’d like more sometimes and can’t seem to get it to increase much even by turning it and the subwoofer input up in the settings. Overall great functionality and sound. Looks great also and love the wireless rear speakers.

This LG soundbar is great. It connected to my LG Evo tv flawlessly. The sound is great and gets really loud watching action movies like Mad Max. Love it !

Very pleased, easy installation and set up with our 65” LG TV. The sound quality including the sub woofer is just we wanted and the price is right.

If you're a company that's going to make the bold choice to have everything about your soundbar be configured via an app, you'd better make sure that your app is AMAZING. And that your hardware connects with a variety of WiFi routers. Unfortunately, LG did neither. ☹️I set this up easily, and everything worked great at the basic level. Solid wireless connection to the subwoofer (which neither Samsung nor Sony can seem to get right), and the rear channels worked great. The overall was good, but not great. But I can't tune the sound or adjust anything without the app, so I was never able to get it to sound great.And unfortunatley, I couldn't set up the soundbar using the app. It always failed at step two of adding the device, which seems to be when the soundbar tries to communicate with the wireless access point. I called LG support seven times (three of those were the system hanging up on me mid-wait), and their tech support wasn't helpful. There seems to be no log files or data that they can look at to see exactly what's going on. It just fails (that error code in the screenshot wasn't indicative of the actual issue), and they could offer no advice on how to get it working. I tried both the Android and iOS apps; I rebooted, reintalled, and re-initiated everything multiple times. Nothing helped.Honestly, it's shocking to me that LG would prefer me to return this product and leave a negative review rather than build things into their system to help with troubleshooting WiFi issues. This soundbar system could have been great, but it's a 1-star product because LG made the entire system reliant upon the app working, and their app/wifi connection piece just doesn't work well.

For the size of all the speakers I expected better sound. The sub has the capability of deep bass , but I only heard it during the ai setup. I've cranked the bass all the way up in the settings and it's terrible. It finally starts to hit when you crank it beyond comfortable listening volume. Overall I am pretty disappointed. My last soundbar was less than half the price and half the size and sounded twice as good.
