We have a remote piece of land abroad that we plan on building a small log cabin. This will be useful until we can bring proper electricity to the land, during our trips there. Husband tried it out here with his car battery and a solar powered one and has been able to use a few power tools and other small electricals that we will need there. Am not very technical about these things, but seeing it work so well gives me hope it will serve our purpose perfectly. Good to have at home if mains go down for too long and you need to use a kettle or slow cooker, charge your phone etc, making sure you do not exceed the wattage this inverter can provide. All in all, a good product to have, we are quite happy with it.

I'm yet to fully test this as I am still in the build stage of a camper conversion, however this looks like a decent bit of equipment. It offers two UK plug sockets and a USB-A socket which is very handy to have. Also included are the required cables and a neat remote control unit.The manufacturer suggests that for the inverter I have, the best 12v battery will be a 400Ah, which isn't the cheapest option out there, but will last a lot longer than a regular car battery. I look forward to getting everything together to get my camper finished now!You get some shockproof pads for the unit and there are some very good instruction bookletss in the box. The manufacturer offers a 24 month warranty too.Once I have finished my project I will update this review to give a fully completed review.

Well packed and arrived quickly.Had this running in the shed via a solar charged battery and its been great so far.well built and doesnt feel cheap.had a number of power tools running through the 240v end and had no problem, even had a fan heater running off it on its lowest setting and all was well.some reviewer have been critical of the info screen, its an info screen on a budget inverter people, it shows the bear minimum but you have paid the bear minimum, it does its job!personally i think this is a great inverter at a great price.

This is a simple but heavy duty device which takes power from a car battery, or other source of 12V DC power, and converts it to AC at mains voltage. The obvious purpose is for camping but it could also be very useful for emergencies at home.I give it 5 stars because everything about it suggests quality engineering and I have confidence that it won't let me down if I suddenly need it.
