I have very oily skin, especially my scalp. So my pillows collect a lot of body oil and no matter how often I wash them, they would still stink. They would come out of the laundry smelling fine, but if they were folded and put away, after a week they would have that rancid oil smell. I've tried all different hacks from deep cleaning, using borox, vinegar, even dish soap, and nothing truly worked. THIS PRODUCT WORKED! For really badly smelling items, I recommend initially washing twice, with the first wash doing an extra rinse and then on the second wash not using any laundry soap and just this product and maybe vinegar as the rinse stage. It's been 3 weeks since I did the first washing and the pillow cases STILL don't have that rancid smell. I'm going to use this every time I wash the pillowcases and any items of clothing I find that have a lasting smell. A little goes a long way. I was expecting to have a use a lot but you only use a cap full per load, maybe two if you have a significant problem. I also have a robe with a hood with the same issue and after one wash, the rancid smell is gone. One of the best purchases I've made this year.

My teenage son was sprayed by a skunk. I tried everything to get the stink out of his clothes and sneakers. I was able to de-skunkify everything except his winter coat. I am assuming it was the fabric type combined with the coat taking the most direct skunk missle hit. I was just about to give up and buy a new coat. But my son is really, REALLY particular about his clothing and we live rurally. I didn't want to buy a coat online without him trying it on. I actually found the same exact coat online and put it in my cart. But I decided to look one more time for something to remove the stink from the coat. At this point it had been hanging outdoors for two weeks, had been washed 8 times, and had been treated with six different products that claimed to remove odors.Lume was a little more expensive but it was worth it. I soaked his coat for two hours as recommended on the directions. I will admit I used more product than recommended. I then washed it once with detergent and an additional rinse cycle. Hallelujah, it worked a miracle. No more skunk smell.

This product really works on strong body odor that removes them from the clothes. I used this on a person that has very dry sky but clothes had smell . Use the product in the laundry with a clear and free detergent and the smell was out. Cleaner fresher clothes.

Let me start by saying this product does work. But it is a little bottle and the product is thick. It is hard to pour without making a mess all over the bottle.

This Lume Laundry Stink Eraser truly works wonders at eliminating odors, though the small bottle size makes me worry it won’t last very long. I appreciate that it’s unscented, which is a big plus. I may save this for the really smelly items.

There was no padding to prevent bottles from bouncing around therefore the items arrived opened and covered in product. For the cost vs amount of product you would think more care would go into ensuring the consumer received all the product.Smells good though!
