Amazing effect, very bright light, more orange than yellow, the ability to charge the battery from the socket is great and the charge indicator is also a great solution

I absolutely love these and on a good day they stay on for a good 6 hours.

So I've not been able to really test the solar panel (grey in Scotland at the moment !) but happily the lights can also be charged via USB lead (supplied, but you need a plug) and it charged the light string up perfectly. The lights flicker in a 'fire' type of sense - a bit artificial of course - but it looks very effective enmasse. My only comment would be that the lights are more 'effect' than light as they are a very orange/yellow so don't really give out 'light' per se. You'd need to bunch them together to get enough light to eat out in the garden when its dark for example, but to pop them along a garden fence or in a tree for decorative purposes they'd look great. The string itself is nice and long, well made and very sturdy. I will update once I've had a chance to check out the solar power option for charging. The sales blurb refers to a remote. There wasn't one in my box and it doesn't look like there should be either according to the brief instructions included.

Love how compact they are, that they can be charged via solar or usb and really do light up very well! A stunning purchase.

Brought set of these lights they lasted 3 months , started continually flashing then stopped working completely.

We did enjoy these although a very dim orange glow. Lasted 5 months and cable snapped with the wind.

Upto now really pleased, handy to have a charge indicator.
