It's warm sound is excellent. Also, it's nice to not have to find a mic input that doesn't have Phantom power enabled. This needs Phantom power in able to work. The only thing I don't like is the gaudy label they stuck on the front of the microphone's plastic carrying case. It makes the mic look cheap when it's in the case. I think an aluminum vertical case would have been better. I fear storing a ribbon microphone for long periods of time horizontally. I have read that storing them horizontally can make the ribbon element stretch over time.

Good guitar amp mic.
I bought this mic because reviews consistently said it performed well as an electric guitar mic. I'm very happy with the sound, which is warm and full.
