1st, cooking bacon in the microwave is criminal. But, if you're like me and would cook less bacon if it weren't for the microwave or you're cooking bacon that's an ingredient in a dish, by all means. I used the raised-ridge platter method for years until it finally cracked. I'm telling you, I wish that it'd cracked sooner. This device is the way to go. You're going to have to fool with the nuking time and it depends on the brand/style of bacon, but you had to do that anyway. The cleanup convenience is worth 5 stars.

There might be marginally better ways to cook bacon if you have the time (such as in an oven), but if you want bacon in a hurry, you cannot beat this device. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and it does what it says. You will have to play around with the time it takes to cook depending on your elevation and the thickness of your bacon, but those are easy to calibrate. Once you're dialed in, you'll be cooking crispy bacon in no time. One thing you need to be aware of is that the bacon will continue to cook a bit once you put it on your plate. This means that soft bacon will become nice and crispy after just a few seconds once removed.

This thing is awesome to contain the mess that we all hate of cooking Bacon. My parents showed this to me years ago and it’s held up perfectly. It is really easy to use and super convenient that you can wash it in the dishwasher. It’s a go to wedding or move in gift!

I loved this bacon cooker. I’ve had it for well over a year! It made beautiful bacon! This morning, while the bacon was cooking, I looked over at the microwave and saw a light flash from the bottom of the cooker several times as it would rotate around. When I took it out and examined it, there was a black spot and a plastic smell. I tried to clean it off but couldn’t…. I really hated to see this in the trash!! Just don’t feel comfortable using something that sparks in my microwave.

This thing works! I have been looking for a way to cook bacon without making a mess in my kitchen for years and this is it. Perfect, crispy bacon that my whole family loves every time. I give this a 10/10.
