Bright display, easy to connect to and use, fun widgets
I bought this display to use with my Home Assistant install, to be able to flash with third party firmware and send pushes via MQTT. For this purpose it works perfectly! It was very easy to flash, and has a really bright screen. The customizability of the built in apps if you don't want to flash it are pretty decent as is, and i wouldn't hesitate to have this as a fun clock/calendar/thermometer even if i wasn't using it with my Home Assistant install. The quality of the casing is nice, it charges without issue with a USB C cable, although i think it sometimes has issues charging if you use a USB C to USB C charge cable as opposed to a traditional USB to USB C cable, but i believe it mentions that warning in the instructions, so i wouldn't knock any stars off for that.

Get this...
Way cheaper that the competition. able to use it features OR like Id and i think most users do. Flash it and connect it to home assistant. Works well for sure.

Don't waste your time
Where do we start? The hassle it is to set up? The poor setup instructions that only help if you can speak Chinese? The fact that it is a CLOCK where you CANNOT MANUALLY SET THE TIME??? Not to mention this is the SECOND one I have received because the first one I got STILL HAD THE RETURN SLIP IN THE BOX! Don't even bother.

Dangerous access to your YouTube account
So it works fine my big issue and why I returned it was the intense level of access I would have to give this to display my YouTube channel count. Like soooo much access I feel like I’m leaving myself open to having my lively hood hacked. So if your buying this as a social media counter, look at others, I have some and they are super easy. Don’t know why Ulanzi went this way.

Don't buy this
It doesn't work. I followed directions exactly - very complicated to set up and it shows 1.nothing else for YouTube subscribers. Just #1. If you use a bunch of Chinese social media sites maybe you will like it.

Two separate clocks stopped working.
I purchased one of these from Ulanzi directly. The first clock i purchased died within a month. The company replaced at no charge under warranty. That second clock got lost in shipping for a few weeks, so the company sent a third clock also at no charge. The third clock has now also died, but outside of the warranty period. It's a nice device, but unfortunately not built to last, it seems.

PITA to Setup
This clock is not easy to setup. Since the initial setup, the YouTube subscriber count hasn't left its even number of 19200.. It's not a live update of my real numbers which makes it almost useless.
