Gentle exfoliation
This review is for Skin Booster PHA Toner Pads for Exfoliating, Minimizing Pores, Dead Skin & Blackheads,100% Cotton Facial Pad, Suitable for Sensitive Skin by Jeu'Demeure, 60 Pads 2.7 fl.oz.I've been using these in the evening after my normal facial cleansing routine. I was surprised at finding that my face cleansing routine and makeup removal was not getting my skin as clean as I thought. These pads revealed that some of my makeup was left behind with my typical cleansing routine. This pad picked up residual makeup left behind as well as toning my skin. It did this all without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight like other toners often do.The pads are generously soaked with serum that smooths easily. One pad does your full face and neck line. It does take a few minutes to absorb and feels a tiny bit sticky for a minute or two, but once it absorbs your skin feels deeply cleansed and refreshed. I'm adding a light moisturizer after application and finding my skin more bright and healthy looking after a few days of use. I'm noticing that some dry flakiness I tend to have has disappeared with regular use of these pads. My makeup looks nicer with this mild exfoliation treatment.

It works a little, claims a lot
This jar claims to bring "miraculous skin improvement." That's a bit of a tall order -- some would say false advertising -- and I'm surprised the choice was made to use that kind of unguarded language on the product. I have been using it intermittently for a month or two now, and while it seems to have had some positive effects, it's far from "miraculous." "Helpful" might be a better and more appropriate word.I've been struggling for many years with mostly hormone-related skin problems, as well as having sensitive skin, so I was probably a decent test case for what it's capable of. It was too harsh to use every day after multiple days in a row, so I took breaks, but still saw a bit of improvement while using, though things tended to return to baseline after stopping. And that's kind of the main reason for taking off a star, aside from the price, which is not terrible for something like this (though still a bit high). As a proponent of natural skincare, I'm pretty iffy on some of the ingredients. I was (just barely) willing to give it a trial run to see if the benefits of short-term use would outweigh the costs. I haven't seen any immediately appearing negative side effects (like rashes), but I would hesitate to use this long-term. And to continue seeing the benefits, you would need to keep using it long-term.Overall, I'd weigh the pros and cons and decide for yourself. It definitely could have much worse ingredients, and I'm thankful that it's fragrance free -- which even some "natural" companies fail to accomplish, despite the fact that it costs them nothing and there's lots of people like me who have fragrance allergies. Might be worth a try for you if you just need some occasional skin help. But don't expect "miracles"!

Seemed ok at first but left my face feeling filmy
I like the idea of presoaked toner pads for ease of use. These worked great on helping to get that fully clean feeling face. But with one draw back. After I was done and my face felt fresh and clean I was waiting foe it to dry but it never felt like it was drying my fave felt sticky. Not like gummy sticky but when you can feel a film on your face. I feel like I have fo wash my face after I use these. Which in turn kind of defeats the purpose of using the toner in the first place. Is it just me? I don't know. I will continue to use but maybe will try different products with it to see if I can avoid that filmy feeling. If things change I'll update as necessary.

Didn't work for my sensitive skin
I was excited to try this toner, but sadly, it didn't work out for me. The container is pretty large and there are quite a few pads. Each pad is soaked very thoroughly with toner. I didn't like the smell of it. It smelled sweet, but also a little rotten. Kind of like if someone is trying to mask a bad odor with a nice smell. After I used this product on my face, it stung and started to get little red spots. I rinsed my face off and put soothing moisturizer on it, but it was still a little irritated. I did a test patch, but apparently the skin on my face is more sensitive. I've used other mild PHA toners before and didn't have a problem like this.

Initial Strong Smell, But Better Now & Effective
The odor of these unscented toner pads was very strong when I first opened the jar, but it died down after multiple uses and having the container open for a while. Now the smell is faint enough that I don't mind it at all. Each round holds a lot of product, so I like to cut them in half to get more uses out of them. I've adopted these toner pads to my night routine, after cleansing my face and before applying serum/moisturizer. It's nice to see the pads pick up anything that my face wash left behind. The directions say to continue rubbing on your face and neck until all liquid is absorbed/evaporated. As the liquid in the pad decreases, the cotton round becomes more abrasive on my skin and gives it a good exfoliation. My skin is relatively sensitive and this product does make my skin slightly burn, and does more so, depending on how much I “exfoliate” with the pad. I have noticed fewer blemishes and breakouts since adding this to my routine.
