great buy
Its so hard to get all the ingredients you need in every high st so ordered on line and despite it being Christmas time it arrived as promised and was delicious. For anyone who wants a treat but doesnt really want to pay for genuine beluga this is a lovely substitute.

Is this called fraud? It says fish product made from smoked herring!
On the container it says 'fish product made from smoked herring!' Is this then Caviar or the eggs of a herring! That's my question! I'm really shocked. I've had lumpfish and now I thought I'd like to taste again the taste of my childhood and yes, it is good...but its not what I was looking for.I'm welcoming comments on this please!

THIS IS NOT CAVIAR !
Obviously the cost of this product is far less than Caviar, but it should not be labelled as such. In my opinion the lump fish sold for far less in supermarkets, tastes just as good. Next year it will have to be the REAL thing for me !

Sizes are very generous so check measurements carefully against size chart.

Don't for a second think this is comparable to real Caviar.
Whoever tried to say this is similar to Beluga was either paid off or has the worst palate ever! Not a patch on the real thing. I mean it's edible and on a cracker it's not bad. Just don't do what I did and order it thinking it will be a caviar substitute. The eggs don't even burst on your palate which is the MAIN characteristic of caviar. I would rather have ordered the Keta caviar from these sellers as that is far more delicious.

Avruga/Arenkha caviar
I love caviar and this one has a wonderul flavour without being ridiculously over-priced. Not too fishy or smokey - perfect on blinis or small squares of toast.

Nice, but not caviar
The flavour is less subtle and more "fishy" than beluga caviar, it reminded me of sushi. Not really a substitute.
