Easy to set up and working flawlessly
After doing some research on a drip hose vs a soaker I decided to go with this from Gardena. The great thing about this set is it comes with the pressure regulator included so there is no guesswork on the pressure required and the hose fit.After leaving the hose in the sun for a bit to soften, laying this out was easy and the hose is watering my plants and hedges with no issues, even on a slight uphill.I would definitely recommend some cheap tent stakes to hold it in place.

Great Product
Purchased this as part of a larger purchase for an irrigation system that I will be installing to water about 60 pots. Will be using this drip line with t-joins to lay in a closed circle inside larger pots (as seen recommended on Youtube - used successfully to provide even coverage in larger containers). For smaller containers, I will be using the adjustable drip heads. Will see how this works and whether I need to swap the drip line and drip heads. So far, I'm very pleased with the variety of the components. Love the very smart mechanism on the joints and they seem to be more solid and much better made than the Hozelock... And, if I'm not mistaken, are actually slightly cheaper! Well done Gardena!

Simple hands-free irrigation for a flower bed
Easy to install and extend if you need to irrigate a larger area or the same area more intensively. Add a timer to the tap to go completely hands-free.

Leaking timer
Excellent product but timer is leaking after less than a year which is not good enough.

Kit Incomplete
Paying a premium I expected high quality; I was disapponted with the completeness of the equipment:There is no connection hose to connect the timer to the drip hose despite it being the main component visible on the box and described in the diagram. You will need to buy that seperately (+£10). The timer does not have a fixture to connect the inlet to a quickfit 3/4" standard fitting. You will need to buy that seperately (+£7). Timer does not have a battery. You will need to buy that seperately (+£1). The entire purpose of the control unit is to reduce water pressure but my drip hose was fired off the end of the control unit on first operation. I need to think how to resolve that. It seems like an over-engineered but poorly executed design.
