This is not a review of the oil quality for which I would give a high rating (for the oil). This is about supply chain observations. Product was delivered on time on 30th June 2021. However, the manufacture timestamp on the Motul containers is 03 May 2019! How was this container stored and in what conditions over the past two years? Too bad I saw this after the containers had been opened and oil poured into the bikes. (Oil smelled genuine, so I had no doubts). However, the red top seals had been opened by customs already because the sender didn't write a goods description for customs so the package was opened by customs for verification. And then of course who knows who packed the battered box - original sender or customs? Everything was still intact with secure packaging full of customs inspection packing tape, which could have been avoided if properly labeled. This is why I put three stars.

Original motul oil, works well on my supermotard 1100.

I have used Motul 7100 oil in a couple of my bikes now and the bikes always seems happier. The biggest improvement seems to be in the transmission shifting much smoother. Pricey oil but what isn't these days.
