This purchase was the worst. Cheaply made and something was wrong with the clock. My Mother had one before in a different design that was great but finally went out, so I bought her this one to better match our décor. It sounded worse than being sick. It took forever to ship. I purchased it in November and it didn't get here until after Christmas. I didn't want to take a chance on ordering another one, so I just sent it back. Totally disappointed with it. I think something was wrong with the chirping mechanism.

Sound quality is poor and bird sound only lasts for not even 10 seconds. Delivery is so so plus it was a little inconvenience for us to to pick it up at the post office. The physical appearance is very nice though so I am giving it 3 stars.

The clock is pretty but it is defective. I only gave it a 2 rating because it does tell time. The bird chime however DOES NOT work. I'm not even certain that there is a mechanism enabling it to work. The photos below show that there is no on/off mechanism. When I took it apart I was horrified to find a double-sticky back piece of black tape covering it all. This item was not backed by Amazon, but shame on you Amazon for offering it to loyal customers.
