These things are the BEST! Once I get down about 2' I hit a layer of clay and struggle to get through it. These bits are the answer to that issue! I start with the small and make several holes then move to the medium and then the large. I get through the clay a lot faster and easier than I could with just my post hole digger. It saves me time and energy. I've done a lot of work with these and they're tough and durable even when I encounter rocks. When I put in our mailbox post, I encountered a lot of rocks and these worked great to help get the rocks loose so I could get them out. I have trees to plan on our land and these will help get that work done and will save me time and energy. They're a great value for the price!

I bought this to put a small sign in the yard. The issue is that the soil was very compacted and there were some roots to deal with as well. This did a good job getting through all that using a 18v driver. Easy to use, quick and efficient.

so far, it is very effective. If I were designing a bulb planting auger, though? I would add a stop, or a way to measure depth. My bf was helping, and he kept digging WAY to deep, and since the ground was cold, and I was bare handed filling IN these holes, it became imperative not to drill too deeply! Otherwise, it was a great product!!!

Works for digging out sprinkler holes in tight spots.

Excellent service in receiving these and they are great for the job of planting flower bulbs. I bought these and a drill and hired someone to plant 36 daffodil bulbs and about 30 other bulbs in a couple of hours. It is much easier than using a shovel. I am now looking forward to beautiful blooms in the early spring.

These are good auger. Be careful. If your drill is strong and it gets hung you could get hurt. That isn't the augers fault. BE CAREFUL. Give some thought to what you doing and if your are weak or have weak wrist don't use it. I am say this because It caught on a root and twisted out of my hand. That is the nature of the tool.

Works ok but it was getting kind of stuck, also is kind of short for tunneling under side walks

Strong material, good choice for the price. I used it to plant over 200 bulbs and other than the paint wearing off all three are in perfect shape.
