This set is a treat! John Williams career from its early days until 2022 is well represented in this wonderful box set. Most of the well know works are here and the real treasure is the more osbscure or less popular work John Williams has produced throughout his career. The recordings are good. The pages are nice with color photos and the booklet in the back is a nice homage to Maestro Williams by those who have had the privilege to work with him. All in all, this a wonderful tribute to John Williams and would make a wonderful gift to the John Williams fan in your life or addition to a collector or someone who enjoys John’s work. A tribute to a living legend. Get it while you can!

Neben den bekannten Soundtracks (in Ausschnitten) von John Williams sind hier auch viele Beispiele aus seinem frühen Schaffen zu finden. Sehr gut die Soundtracks aus Star Wars, ET, der weiße Hai 1 und 2, Indiana Jones 1-4, Schindlers Liste (zu Recht mit einem Oscar belohnt) oder auch Ausschnitte aus seinen Soundtracks für Poseidon Adventure, Erdbeben und Flammendes Inferno.Eine CD beweist auch, daß John Williams in der sogenannten "Ernsten Musik" zu Hause ist.Trotz einem Umfang von 20 CDs kann diese Box auch nur ansatzweise dem jahrzehntelangen Wirken von John Williams gerecht werden.Eigentlich müsste diese CD-Sammlung mehr wie 5 Sterne bekommen (geht aber leider nicht).

Un beau survol de l'œuvre de John Williams , pour qui ne connaît pas un bon moyen de découvrir l'immense palette de son talent et pour ceux qui suivent depuis des décennies son travail pour le cinéma un vibrant hommage sous une bien belle forme dans la ligne des box Universal dédiées a Michel Legrand et Ennio Morricone. Il a beaucoup de superbes albums présent dans cette compilation et le plus fervents admirateurs du maestro espèrent que Stéphane Lerouge nous fera la grâce de nous en offrir un deuxième volume car bien d'autres titres sont a découvrir .

Es una pack de una calidad indiscutible. Incluye 20 Cd con bandas sonoras (algunas completas y otras con fragmentos) del Maestro. Es evidente que no se puede incluir en un pack todas las partituras de Williams para el cine pero este pack es una buena forma de tener en una sola compra partituras maestras de Williams. Además es un complemento perfecto para tu colección de Williams porque incluye partituras no tan comerciales y el CD 20 con bastantes grabaciones inéditas exclusivas de este pack. Se presenta en gran formato apaisado con palas de cartón de calidad en la impresión y con bastante grosor. El libreto con información y entrevista al John Williams se presenta en Inglés y Francés.

Que lo reserve y compre con antelación en preorden y ahora está más barato y como churros en todas partes.
