Since I don't have a lab to test the ingredients or efficacy, I check the package and bottle for ingredients, country of manufacture, traceability of the company, certifications, expiration date & lot number.This 2oz bottle of Minoxidil from Hair Regen appears to be the real deal. The bottle, cap, and eyedropper are the exact same as the name brand Minoxidil I normally use. It even smells the same (don't laugh, most other smell flowery or have no scent at all). It's hard to describe the scent - maybe a little soapy would be the best way. Anyway, even to the foil sealing cap on the bottle, this is the same the product I've been using for over 25 years.It comes with an extensive instruction/info/Q&A sheet, something none of the other brands I've tested had.Overall I have no complaints or concerns.

It does the job. It takes time but after 6 months you see noticeable differences when you put it on consistently

The items I purchased (three 6-month supplies, totaling an 18-month supply of Hair-Regen Minoxidil) arrived, but all have an expiration date of January 2026. This means they will expire before I can finish using them. I contacted Amazon, but they declined to assist. After two lengthy calls, they finally provided me with a link to contact Hair-Regen directly. I have since emailed and called Hair-Regen. They never returned my calls or responded to my emails; however, within Amazon, they responded saying that the items cannot be returned or refunded despite their acknowledgement that they will expire by January 2026 before the entire 18-month supply can be used up.They note that"...our listing offers a 6-month supply per pack, and while some customers order multiple packs, the expiration date remains fixed based on the manufacturer’s production cycle. That said, we truly understand your concern, especially given that you purchased an extended supply, but we do not guarantee expiration dates across multiple-pack orders.Despite acknowledging the early expiration of their product, they still refuse a return or refund, stating they don't guarantee expiration dates across multiple-pack orders and that their listing is for a 6-month supply per pack.This is unacceptable.They should have disclosed the expiration date or notified buyers purchasing more than a 6-month supply of their product.Very poor customer service.

Has the same exact packaging as the Kirkland version just the brand is different. Kirkland says it’s made in Israel. This was me says California. Been using the Kirkland brand for years but still not sure it works. Says to use 2x per day and not on wet hair but I use it after shower only

My dermatologist recommended this product for my thinning hair. I have been using this brand for over 1-1/2 years and I do see the difference with thinning spots on my scalp. This one seems more reasonable than the others, and it does work.
