With all the smoke in Southern California I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to swap out my intake filter. Decided on this one since it has high mileage and is reusable.I really didn't expect this filter to be noticable other than on the wallet in the long run. The higher flow design doesn't add horsepower to the car but it definitely gives the illusion of it because my engine is MUCH more responsive to the gas pedal and it feels like it opens up with much more ease.Quality is about 100x nicer than the stock OEM Subaru filter which is pretty much just some paper origami in the shape of a filter. Installation was about as easy as possible (at least on my Impreza). Pop the hood and unclip the intake box, remove the old filter, put the new filter in, close the box and clip it shut. Done.Great upgrade and worth the extra price without question considering you can wash it and reuse it not to mention the miles you can go before you even have to think about it.Highly recommend it! There is a reason it gets such great reviews!

Performance is definitely enhanced. There is a negligible increase in gas mileage, but not having to replace the air filter and only having to clean it a couple of times a year is a big plus. I have used K&N filters on all my cars for the past 20 years.

fits my 2019 Subaru Impreza. Why let the oil change guys charge you $50 for a filter that will last 6 months when you can buy a permanent one for the same money

I always use k&n on my vehicles. Never had any issues. After removing the carbon filter and installing this, I was able to gain 8 horsepower and a quicker throttle response. No intake noise though. Nothing significant but every little bit helps. Took maybe 5 minutes to install.

I’ve been using K&N filters for years. They work great and save money if you’re keeping your car for a few years. Performance gains are noticeable but not phenomenal. Gas mileage improvement again noticeable (if you keep your foot under control), but not significant. I do notice a bit more of a growl. If you trade your car often then it’s probably not worth the price.

Good quality filter for the money.

The filter looks okay, but the box seems to have been open 100 times before shipping and the plastic wrap protecting the filter in the box was half missing. Also, the under hood decals advising pit monkeys not to throw away the filter and other usual package contents were missing.
