Just alright.
The cymbals are reasonably good. However considering the current price of Zildjian ZBT cymbals i definately made the wrong choice. Since they are brass not bronze they are quite dull, the cymbals are thick and heavy which means you have to really smash them to get a nice tone out of them, hitting them lightly just doesnt work. Theyre worth the money, but if i had the second chance i wouldnt have bought them.

Bought for my son
These are thick, and heavy. They are going to cost me a fortune in excess baggage to take back to Australia. They are heaps cheaper in the UK. The aforementioned son smashed the last lot to tinfoil, I don't think he'll do the same with these. I suspect they will be very noisy.

Good sound and good value
This set of cymbals is ideal for drummers from beginner level up to semi-pro level and can be used for a variety of musical styles for live playing or for studio work. The considerably more expensive Paiste 2002 and Paiste Signature cymbals are perhaps more appropriate for more accomplished players and full-time professionals but the lower-budget PST3 cymbals (there is also a PST5 range but those cymbals cost a bit more than the PST3 ones) offer good value for money and are perfect to start off with if you are new to the world of drumming or if, like me, you have returned to drumming after a long break from it and you want to gradually get back into it again.I use these cymbals on my drum kit when I practice at home and I have also used them on recordings in my home studio and they sound pretty good. I like to play different styles of music including rock 'n' roll, country, rock and pop and the Paiste PST3 cymbals are more than adequate for these types of music. This universal set includes two 14" Hi-Hat cymbals (Top and Bottom), a 16" Crash and a 20" Ride - the basic set-up that you need to start playing. The PST3 range also includes a 10" Splash, a 14" Crash, an 18" Crash-Ride and an 18" China Type so you can expand your cymbal set-up if you want to.
