Q: Is this the new or old style?

A: OXO redesigned these containers in 2019. Be very careful when buying “warehouse”, as the new lids and containers have a different radius, which means the pre-2019 lids and containers are NOT compatible! I bought “this item” not realising it was an OLD container (and missing a lid) and had to track down an old lid on an auction site. NB the new lids are slimmer, with a thinner ridge around the top, and the lid edge tapers inwards and up. The OLD lids are thicker, with a bigger seal, straight sided edge with a thicker flat raised border to the top.

Q: Can you use these storage containers for leftovers? (Eg. Stew, casserole, etc.)

Yes, I don’t see why not. They are airtight & as long as you put the leftovers in the fridge they should keep for a couple of days.

Q: How much flour can be stored in 4.2 l?

Try google - it’ll convert grams of weight to cubic litres for you
