Wrong fuel filter comes on it, and it wont come off!
This unit comes with a smaller than stock fuel filter on it. Went to take it off to put the correct one on and its literally welded (maybe the rubber they use fused?) onto the pump assembly. I have destroyed the fuel filter with multiple filter wrenches and then a large pipe wrench trying to get the filter off and it will not budge even with oil and wd-40 added to the filter seal. I'd look elsewhere for something better.

We are finishing the final work on our inboard, looking forward to the 24' Fishing season. Over the winter we installed a fresh Engine, overhauled the Trans, Busy, Busy, Modernizing all of the systems in the old Pioneer including the Fuel System.I was happy to find a good reliable Fuel Pump on Amazon. Installing the Weonefit Fuel Pump/Filter was very easy, the Weonefit Electric Fuel Pump Assembly had all of the ports we needed to marry to the Volvo 5.7L Engine. Our old system was made up with a seperate Fuel Pump, Water Separator, and then the Fuel Filter mounted in three different locations - Messy.With the upgraded Weonefit Electric Fuel Pump Assembly Installed, now the Engine Compartment looks like it belongs to a Decent Boat. Honestly I feel a lot safer having the upgraded Weonefit Fuel Pump/Filter Assembly in our Boat. Safety - Safety - Safety. I can't wait to get her back in the water.I gave the Weonefit Electric Fuel Pump Assembly a Full Five Stars Across the Board.
