I ordered this 300cm x 145cm portable blackout blind to use in the conservatory at night and prevent our vigilant family dog from seeing a fox and alerting the entire house – and beyond.It's easy to cut into the right size if needed using the attached cutter but this size was ideal for our needs. It's portable in the sense that you can remove the blind from its velcro setting in the morning but, unlike suction cups, it's not so easy to take to different places because you do need the velcro attachments which, for us, are staying put in the conservatory and that might be an issue for some people who want to use it to keep a baby quiet when staying at different places or light-sensitive people going on holiday, for example.It truly is a blackout blind, you can't even see someone waving behind the black frontage in the sunshine and the silver foil on the other side helps keep the room cool, shutting out the heat4* – Great size, shuts out both light and heat, easy to cut if preferred, stays in place when in use, lightweight so is easy to put up and take down but not fully portable because of the velcro attachment. That said, it's perfect for our needs and the hound isn't seeing the fox so all's quiet at night!

Product arrived in good time and good condition. Was easily able to cut out the size I needed for my bedroom window. Did find using scissors easier than the cutter provided. The material blocks out light completely. Would be very happy except for the velcro. Doesn’t stick to the pvc around my window very well and falls off during the night. May need to buy different velcro to secure it properly. Room was nice and cool in the morning so the reflective side may have done a good job. Had the velcro been good then would be 5*.

I was so impressed with the package, it came with a cutter and measuring tape. I was able to cover a huge window with it and still have enough for another window.It makesbit completely dark in the room night or day, simply brilliant.Easy to install

Omg I wasn't expecting much from this blackout but it massive come with all you need to put it up .I ended up doing my window plus my sons and there still anuff for mybe a small window really worth the money not that it expensive thank you amazon

most people wouldn’t understand the main reason I use blackout curtains as it’s due to a relatively rare visual problem(VSS) which causes my entire field of view to be filled with a static like effect. In a light room this is fine, I can look through it as I have done forever but when I’m trying to go to sleep at night, even the slightest bit of light from the window means it’s difficult to sleep due to the static being more prominent.This blackout curtain is more or less perfect for me as it blocks out practically all light meaning when my room lights are off, it’s completely dark making the static much less noticeable and thus allowing me to drift off a little easier.This is pretty easy to fit as it comes with some thick adhesive strips that stick to the window surround really well - if you care about your paint work, don’t place them on a wall as they will likely pull off the paint if you were to remove them.Overall it’s a great blackout sheet which is perfect for those like me that need a dark room when they are sleeping. It’s also good for those that suffer from migraines, being able to block out the light when needed is the perfect way to get a dark room for times when you need or even just want darkness.

Used this on the balcony window next to my bed when I moved into my flat. Worked great and didn't let any light in at all during the night.
