Softening these pellets in 150F water until they turn clear, they become rather sticky. Pressed into a putty-like mass, they're easy to form even as they cool. Even straight out of the hot water, they're not uncomfortably warm to handle. They do tend to stick to things, but hand-forming is easy. When cool, it's a surprisingly strong material. It's a bit stiff for young people to handle, and an adult is definitely required due to the hot water (150F is way too hot for kids, it is a definite scalding risk). The packaging says it's not for kids, and I agree.Out of curiosity I mixed in some resin-coloring mica powder, kneading about 10% by weight into some of the material while it was soft. The powder mixed fine and looked really good. There are lots of options!Lots of fun; this new-to-me material lights up my imagination!
