This item was obviously a returned item. You could tell that the package had been opened before. And it was obvious that someone else had tried to assemble it. There was no backing to screw the screws into for the bracket on the back of the mirror that holds the gimbal. Looks like they had been stripped out, or poor manufacturing. Same problem I read in another 2 star review. Also the threads on the steel arm that screws into the black bracket were not right. Could not screw the arm all the way in. I like the product because its the only bracket I found to fit a 2.5" tower. I'm ordering another and hope it is not defective like this one. For the price of this mirror, I would expect it to be top quality.

Product came as what I would assume was a used return. Just miscellaneous pieces stuck in a generic brown box. Missing instructions. Not too big of a deal because it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to put it together. Biggest issue is missing hardware and the weak mismatched screws that hold the pivot ball. Previous person I'm assuming messed the threads up where the 3 screws go in. Not a huge deal as I was able to fix them. Dirty threads with old locktite on the silver arm attaching to the black arm clamp. Missing any kinda rubber or adapter pieces, so mounting this on my wakeboard tower didn't happen. The clamp is way too big to fit my 2.25" Tower bar. Once again, Tried looking around for a decent mirror only to be disappointed with Amazon's lack of quality products.

This offers a wide field of view from behind. I dont have a wakeboard boat but its still nice to see whats behind you when boating.

This is a large mirror, and sits on a long arm, so offers a wide view behind you. Especially on a boat, you need to see behind you to avoid dangerous situations, so it's a good thing to have. But it is quite pricey, considering the overall quality. I wish the mounting was more secure, it works but didn't feel quite secure, though that will depend on the kind of boat you have.

Had to use the rubber spacers to fit the wake tower. It does not stay in place and sides around due to the rubber spacer. Completely useless.
