I was iffy about this product based off other reviews but based off a tick tock I decided to give it a go . It feel like really good material and it separated my curls perfectly! Be sure to use on wet hair and add leave in conditioner moose and some gel , part your hair in to 3 sections (like a half up half down kinda deal ) and brush through while rotating the brush so your hair falls into the notches, then use some (just some not a lot ) more gel with each section while scrunching befoing going to the next top section . Air dry or blow dry then if your hair is crunchy from too much gel use a light hair oil and SCRUNCH THE CRUNCH ! I absolutely love this brush .

So, first off, this is a very specific brush, meant to be used in a specific way in order to get well-defined curls. It is not meant to be used on dry hair, so those pictures are garbage. You use it on wet hair, with product. If you are not familiar with this type of brush, find one of the many Bounce Curl videos before using.Second, this is a knock-off of the original Bounce Curl brush, which is much more expensive. As knock-off’s go, this one isn’t bad. I know that because this is my second bounce curl knock-off and the first one was really bad, in both design and execution. This one is closer to the mark, however it does have some defects. The protective coating at the top is mangled or even missing on a few of the bristles. I suspect it works similarly to the original.I got good results. The frizz in the picture is probably my fault for not using some kind of anti-frizz product. However, I think my hair kind of does this naturally, so I am not sure how much the brush is actually doing. I feel like I get similar results by raking/shaking and scrunching.I will know for sure in a few weeks as I have the original (now patented) Bounce Curl on back order. Honestly, I felt guilty for getting knock-offs and decided to fork-over the $$. I am also curious to see how it compares to this one.

This brought my curl to a whole new level. I have more body and more curl. Highly recommend.

Wonderful brush for curly hair to help define those smaller curls. Use it on completely wet hair and go section by section adding product as you go. I use a cream product for curly hair. Used my Diffuser after and put it in a satin night cap and woke up with nice bouncy curls.

So this is a nice brush overall but the curling aspect didn't really work for me. I have a loose curl to my hair and was hoping this brush would help define the curls better but even after looking up videos on how to use these types of brushes, it didn't work for me. I have a feeling it may be the type of hair I have chin length, fine, loose curly hair. The brush aspect of this works fine and I'm sure for some the curling hooks on the side will work but not for me.

This brush smells like walking into a tire shop. I really want to try it on my hair but I’m afraid it’s going to make my hair smell like a tire. Debating on returning it and ordering the real thing instead.
