They are packed around a plastic slinky that I assume allows you to slide over something with a thick handle and then you pull the coil out and it clings. I did not know that and pulled on the coil and ended up with a thick-walled silicone tube of small diameter that could not be stretched manually over anything of much thickness. Lesson learned. For what you get it is drastically overpriced. And there should be instructions.

I liked the different sizes and it’s useful though I had to return it. My handles are to fat. Unusually thick handles. Since I ordered my pots and pans at the same time I didn’t know they would be so thick. Very nice set to buy

It stays in place. Definitely recommend those needing a grip on their handles at the very least.

I bought this less for the heat resistance and more for the comfort of a no-slip grip on my new 3 quart saucepan. I loved the weight of the pan, but the metal handle felt awkward and slippery to me and was not as heat proof as I was led to believe. Now I have both - heat resistance and a tight fitting silicone grip! It was easy to put on, too! Very happy with my choice!

I bought two fir two very different uses. I have a carbon steel wok with a metal handle. I have a thick silicone handle cover, but it still gets too hot to comfortably hold. This thing was wide enough that I could put it on top of the existing cover for double protection.

These cast iron handle covers are fantastic! I totally love them and they are a awesome value for your money! They are worth their weight in gold when handling a hot cast iron skillet! A must have!

Doesn't get too warm even when left on the handle of a cast iron frying pan. Good thickness for protection and usability

These are very colorful. I've seen them for years on several cooking shows and wanted them, especially for a copper pot I have. The handle has always gotten hot. These work great!!!
