Quite sturdy
I had purchased a small cat siloutte design bookend and it could not handle the weight, when i tried to grab a book, compared to that this is quite sturdy and good quality. I do not like the Amazon basics label right on top, spoils the aesthetics same with their cable management box too, they can print their lable somewhere beneath.

This stand is good. But it requires a support on the other end. it could have been great if the vertical portion could have been a bit tilted and a short support towards the end
