Expensive filters but efficient and for me they last a year running on low constantly.

Expensive BUT the best air filter if you value the quality of the air you breath, then buy IQ AIR I have their room air filtration systems for about 15 years now. expensive replacement filters but they run 16 hours a day i live close to a major freeway and sometime i need to open windows these filters, i swear, removes the odor and particles coming inside the rooms. again Expensive BUT the thing works forget about buying from Walmart and Target those puny room filtration systems. just get the best, IQ AIR and use it for years. it will pay itself off after a few years.

I’ve owned my IQ compact air purifier for 14 years. It works absolutely perfectly! I just replaced my pre filter and hepa filter with IQ products. I tried other less expensive air cleaners just to A-B performance, and there was no comparison. They were returned or vanquished to small bedrooms. This puppy takes care of my open air first floor (1300 sq feet) brilliantly. I have extremely severe allergies. Just a message to IQ and consumers. When you “reboot” the system with new filters, there is an unpleasant odor for 24 hours. I had to read 25 comparison reports and I finally found that under “cons.” It’s no problem if you know it will happen. Just a brief interval before this marvelous machine does it’s miraculous thing with your air. BTW it’s quiet. {Changing the pre filter is almost impossible for an older person with arthritis. I hope there will be suggestions that come with packaging to make this a bit easier.}

I do not question the quality of IQ Air but their prices are very high. This is however probably the best filtering HEPA cartridge on the market (Really takes out the tiny particles). I bought my machine back in the mid 2000's and cartridges were expensive then too. But IQAir no longer works with dealers so good luck trying to find a "Deal". You pay full price for all their stuff. At least you can trust the quality. Do NOT expect these to go 4 years if you have dirty air. In a house with fairly clean air you can do it. They should sell a monitoring device to check the output of the air coming from you System not just rely on a set number of hours as a replacement metric.

4 stars because I found the $199. Hepa filter replacement is a little pricy. But purchased it anyway because I am 100% PLUS happy with the IQ air purifer machine and want to continue to use it.

Filters for the IQAir are pricey but they are high quality that last longer then a lot of lesser priced ones.

Bought a number of replacement Hepa filters for the 3 iQAir units in our condo, and had to return one as one of the units still have more life in the Hepa filter than we thought, the product itself is the best in the industry in terms of quality and filtering performance, and the company responded quickly when inquiring about the product return refund for the one unit that we sent back that we didn't need to use yet. Highly recommend this product!
