Listen, if there’s one eyeliner I can’t live without, it’s this little gem right here—the CLIO Sharp So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner. I’ve been using it for years, and every time I try something new, I always come running back.I love a crisp, defined eye, especially in my waterline, but I also like a soft, smudgy edge that gives that effortless, sultry look. A brush liner? Too harsh and way too high-stakes—I don’t have the patience for perfection on the first try! But this pencil? It’s the perfect balance of precision and forgiveness.Is it totally budge-proof for 12 hours straight? Not quite, but with my oily lids (even with primer), I can get a solid 7 AM to 2 PM wear time before I need a quick refresh. And for me, that’s impressive. Plus, if you use eyelid tape, this liner actually adheres well and still pops—though, fair warning, it’s a little less forgiving on tape if you make a mistake.The deep black shade is rich and bold, absolutely perfect for tight-lining my upper lashes. But my secret sauce? I layer it! Black on the waterline, dark brown above it, and then another soft brown on top—it gives the eyes such a dimensional, polished look. I do wish they had a shade between black and dark brown, but honestly, the formula and smooth application keep me hooked.One thing to note: this liner sometimes goes out of stock on Amazon, so if you see it available and you’re running low, order a batch! Nothing’s worse than scrambling for a replacement and having to settle for something that just doesn’t measure up. This has become my everyday eyeliner. Compared to all the other mechanical pencils I've found this is the thinnest which was exactly what I was looking for. It's pigmented enough to line the waterline and it doesn't smudge throughout the day. Before using this, my everyday go-to was the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Demolition but I was tired of sharpening it and losing so much every time I did. The UD pencil also left me looking racoony at the end of the day. After hearing about Clio through a makeup influencer on youtube I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. I bought this in both black and brown. I prefer the brown for a more natural look and FYI the brown is a little GLITTERY if you don't mind, nothing extreme though. I'd suggest anyone curious to just give it a try since it's so affordable you have everything to gain.

I bought this product earlier and have been very happy with the results, and wanted to have a back up for when I run out! The fine barrel and twist for more product makes it easy to use and a great everyday eyeliner. I do find that my wing ends are smudged off by the end of the day, but i also notoriously touch my eyes!

Thin, pigmented long lasting liner at a great price

I love the thin shape and color of this eyeliner. Its easy to get a nice subtle wing, on trend for 2025. The texture is smooth but not too creamy. It blends out easily. Unfortunately it doesn’t set and after a few hours, it fades and travels without a primer. Its an ok product but I won’t repurchase.

Everyone should know about this eyeliner is basically been to eyeliner in Korea for the longest time. Glides on smooth color payoff to notch and stays put till u wash it off

Disappointed as this isn’t smudge proof. This keeps running underneath my bottom eye lids even when I only apply it to my top lash line…and it continues to smudge after i’ve wiped the smudge away. The tip isn’t as micro fine as I’d hope it would be either.
