I bought the murphy bed for our spare bedroom/my home office. My husband and father put most of it together in one day, and my husband and I finished it the next day. Overall, not too terrible quality of instructions. You don't need 4 people as it implies. Lol. It's much like putting together ikea furniture, but much more sturdy materials. The instructions are all pictures, but everything was labeled and fairly easy to navigate. We did end up missing a bolt, but I reported it and was provided more than enough money to grab a replacement at the hardware store. Very nice customer service going through Amazon! Overall, a challenging project, but if you've ever assembled furniture before, it wasn't a bad experience. The quality of the bed frame and attached closet are great! Very sturdy and hardly any noticeable blemishes. It came packed in sturdy boxes, just have fun finding which one the paper instructions are in. The bed pulls down and folds up easily. My few guests have said it's comfy, so I'm happy!!

We were looking for a bed for my 9yr old and we came across this by accident. The assembly went pretty well. Instructions could be a little better, but we managed. Definitely going to need help and about a day to put together. All in all it was good quality and a challenge but worth it.

Some of the pieces were very scratched up, one was bent, the stickers that they put in the pieces to identify them either fell off or were so worn that they couldn’t be read, the bolts weren’t labeled and very difficult to differentiate between the several kinds in the same bag, the pieces didn’t fit together correctly, and the instructions are just pages of pictures with no words. So when we got to a place that we needed to know the pronation (I meant orientation but seri liked pronation 🤷‍♂️ - interchangeable, just like the bolts and instruction pages) of a few pieces, we got stuck because the picture didn’t show it. We’ve been working on this thing for 9 hours and are only in step 12!edit* Husband’s POV. do not let your wife loose on this project! By “we” she means “her”. by the time i arrived bolts were installed everywhere. ever play “hide the bolt” and watch while your dude spends two hours hunting it down? super fun!!!bolt packaging was a joke. Instructions > 150IQ so beware. Zero words included in instructions.update: Day 5. We’re still at it. faster to DIY one of these but it’s kinda getting fun wondering where we go from here.oh almost forgot. at one point the instruction book provides a jump-scare with a pic of 4 people required. page 12 i believe. so have some friends ready for that 12am call for backup.update: day 5.25. do not puncture the gas springs. it’s really tempting. safer to just turn the page and hope.have fun with your purchase. we’ll update in a week or so to let you know how it goes. weeeeee!!!!!

We love the bed as it gives us some much needed space back. A few pieces were missing chips of paint and we were missing a bolt but the company sent what we needed immediately

I got this for my grandson. It was time to get rid of his old twin bed. This is perfect. It has everything he needs and can be closed if he needs more room room. He loves it.
