Men's Compression MA3851 Comp Shorts

This is my second 2XU product and its faultless, excellent quality, while running support and compression is outstanding and they last for years...

Comfy and well compressed shorts :) excellent value :)

My wife bought these compression shorts when they were at a discounted price of just under £25. At that price these compression shorts are a bargain, but I would not pay the so-called full price currently of £43. In the last few years I have tried Adidas, Nike, Under Amour and a few lesser known brands. So I think I can give an honest and thorough review of my 2XU Compression shorts MA3851b. On the plus side: They are well made, the leg inseam is about 9 inches so even taller people will find these shorts cover your quadriceps. I like the fact the shorts have a tie string to tighten waist if you need for a snug tight. They do not chafe me so they are comfortable to wear for long periods and can be used either in the gym or for running. Another plus is the compression is firmer then other brands giving your muscles more support and thus less vibration. On the down side: Like all other big brands of compression shorts all full price they are over priced. I don't think that is going to change any time soon but I would urge people to look out for when the items are on sale. Even though I hand wash all my compression shorts by hand, over time the compression loosens and thus is not as effective. Since the marketing of compression wear has become big business I do feel writers who review these products should be more insightful and sound less like a cheerleader. I do believe that all major sports brands could charge less for their products if they did not waste company money sponsoring already wealthy athletes to tell us how good something is.

I wear these for football after suffering with a pulled quad, and they work really well, and have kept me from doing the same thing again. The compression is actually medical grade, so it's actually doing something, rather than flimsy, cheaper versions.

Bought these as a replacement for an old pair that had worn through. At first all good then noticed a fold in the seam in the crotch area that now rubs when running. The material has not be sewn correctly so there is a ridge right between the legs! The seams should be nice and smooth but this causes an irritation that is actually painful to run in these. For £50 and a 2XU item I would have expected a better quality product. The returns window had closed by the time I realised there was an issue. Disappointed! UPDATE 14/12/2021 Having contacted 2XU they suggested raising the issue with Amazon which I did and am happy to say they have replaced the faulty item. The new pair have not stitching issues and are so far comfortable and not causing any issues.

Love these shorts extremely comfortable with good compression excellent on long runs will definitely purchase more of these.

Practically the best all-around compression shorts for men, IMO. Probably one of the best for running as well; they are tight and hardy enough to get the legs pumped and wearable for a long time. I say that because many other brands, especially Tracksmith, wear out over time and laundry runs making them lose their intended elasticity during wear. For runners and people not wearing anything over them, this makes them just feel like you're wearing slightly tight but loose underwear--a nightmare for even causal performance and makes your bulge flop around with creepy conformations. These give the perfect balance of 'superhero tights' look and feel; no discomfort, great athletic utility, perfectly keeps everything snugly pocketed in place, and communicates what decency tights can
