Per every other review, no one likes the stupid "Boar Off Road" logo (no one even knows what that is), however as in the other reviews, you can paint over it (still slightly visible, see pic). So while the quality of the part is good, and I purchased it with full knowledge that it will come with the stupid logo, I rate this as 3-stars with the hope that the importer gets the point they don't need to pay to put a fake name on this when they buy them from whoever makes these in China.

I read hoers reviews so befor I installed it I scuff sanded and repainted it. This ideally will prevent the added gold complaint and the white lettering.If you look close enough you can still see the letters. Nobody looks that close.I have used it several times with my new synthetic lne and it works great.Oh I did replace the bols with some higher grade. The original ones did not even have a rating. McFadden Dale suxed them up for me.

Works great with synthetic rope and looks great when installed. The only problem is after having it on my truck it faded after a few months and now it’s a dull gold color. The color looks like crap as the whole reason I bought it was for the black color to match my truck. The price was right though, it’s pretty competitive with other brands out there, it just fades to fast.

A fun Christmas prank, perhaps? The box was even labeled fairlead. Oh well. I already have this identical item from Bangood, but I have four winches, so I'll use it. I'll just order another fairlead. Thanks Boar, this was fun!

Was worried about oxidization but hasn’t

The picture shows a plain black fairlead but when you get it in the mail it has “Boar Off-road” in silver across the front. It’s not a sticker that can be peeled off either. I sent mine back as it didn’t fit my all black Jeep color scheme. The Seller did reach out to me which I appreciate. The quality of the fairlead was good I just needed it to be all black.

Lightweight, feels cheap, and as others have said, the photos are misleading. The item is not all black, it actually has a very large and poorly printed logo smack dab on the front, which only makes it look cheaper. I returned mine immediately.

Solid built from billet alum. Has white letters on front, big deal spray with some black paint go to go. Can,t believe people complain about white letters
