Quality alternative to tool truck brands.
Been looking off and on for a quality extra long 1/2” drive 25” long ratchet wrench. The finish is perfect, as good as any. It’s fine tooth with the center button to lock/unlock the socket. The plastic handle is comfortable to grab and use. Especially in cold weather. Tekton is a quality tool company and I think it will last a lifetime of use. The only thing I wish it had was a locking flex head. Maybe they’ll make one someday.

Buy it! It will hang with the truck brands
Strong. Smooth. Good backdrag. Recessed button to release sockets. Strong. Reliable. It's light and it can take some serious torque. I'd highly recommend anything from tekton!

Just as good as major brands if not better
This passed my torture test it's flexed but it's not bent and teeth has held up. I'm glad I purchased it's worth the money

Very nice ratchet
Love the ratchet. Good length. Nice and smooth with minimal back drag. Only thing I'm not 100% on is the shape of the handle. It's oval and I think I'd prefer round. Thus the 4 star rating

I have bought several Tekton tools. They are well made and have a build quality that should last a lifetime. This wrench has already been put through a lot and is holding up great.

Durable
I own several tekton tools. I've got to be honest, when this ratchet arrived I expected a bulky ratchet given I ordered the extended handle for added leverage. Not gonna lie... this thing is thin, light, and I honestly thought I would snap it in half working on a bicycle... I put it on my service truck and took it to work with me anyways just to see if I could break it I guess. I've used it daily since and I haven't even made it flex yet let alone break it. Very pleased. with my purchase. Update* Almost 2 years later I finally broke it. I am an equipment mechanic so this thing got used for hours daily as it was my favorite ratchet. I stripped the teeth of the gears.... got on the tekton website, went to warranty claim. Submitted a picture and description of the fault along with my personal info, and within a few days a new one was in my mailbox.... WORTH EVERY PENNY The tool truck only comes once a week, so it couldn't have been any faster. Also, I saw a review that somebody said they couldn't find parts for their ratchet when it broke. Apparently they didn't check the Tekton website, they sell the rebuild kits for just a couple of bucks all day long...
